  1. i actually like the modern Mustangs using LED accents in the grille as an homage to the older cars...reading this, I wasn't sure about using one of those black LED headlights, but it looks really good in the factory grille location. Nicely done. Also interesting how most aftermarket speedo functions these days are GPS. Screw with having to mess with speedo gears and cables out of your transmission, and calibrating for wheel/tire sizing
  2. +1. Just got some Hikari foglights for $17 shipped. Nice and bright, but not expecting them to do 2+ hours duty-time every day as I only occasionally use them.
  3. This truck is fucking boss. Well done so far, sir...
  4. My 2WD (RWD) Silverado has Firestone Winterforce tires on the factory steelies for winter duty, and it's still stunning how well it handles in the snow. Seriously, changed my opinion on RWD cars all-year in Ohio: Totally doable and safe.
  5. Tiburons are good cars, both 4-cyl and V6...but I would want to know the ownership/maintenance history as those tended to be passed down to bottom-feeders after several years. Not exactly a high-line brand or a collectible drivers' car, that one.
  6. Dude, I just bought caps. Plus, I’m avoiding the whole “prancing moose” thing. Also, Vogtland springs won’t fit the rear Amazon seller is saying that I missed the return window so I’m SOL. Gonna fight this guy for a bit, but may see if there are other spring options out there for the non-R AWD S60...
  7. Be Tim: sees Trump tweeting from Oval Office, think that he wasn't impeached. Now that this mess is over, he needs to focus on...uhh...delivering on his promises? https://www.npr.org/2019/12/20/789540931/2-years-later-trump-tax-cuts-have-failed-to-deliver-on-gops-promises https://www.axios.com/national-debt-record-trump-bfb4af0c-8e6c-4071-ab66-579997f2cc9d.html
  8. Sean (Crossle) suggested Wheel Medic for center caps, saying that they have a bunch of leftovers. Well...that is an understatement: they have a whole ROOM of wheels, hub rings, bolts and lugnuts, etc... For not knowing exactly who made these wheels (but figuring these heavy-ass 19”s are from China) Joel and I brought in a wheel and started going to town, test-fitting what they had. I don’t know what “Monte Titano” wheels are (one of the ladies said it is a Discount Tire brand) but the caps were a perfect fit and brand new for $20. Nice to check it off our list!
  9. Takes my vision on Cars & Coffee into a whole new level, all-week long...not just on Saturdays. Very cool!
  10. That's a SLEEPER of a teeruk. Well done and congratulations!
  11. Well played. I went with the Businessman who will focus on continuing on strengthening our economy. Did not think. it. would. get. this. ugly. Also, Howard Stern's interview of Hillary Clinton...look it up. I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed it.
  12. It amazes me how many of Trump's close advisors covered up for his ignorance - and a few got burned for it - yet nothing sticks to Trump. Throughout the Impeachment hearings, the fact that Trump skated away from directly incriminating himself because all of his people just "knew what he meant/wanted" seems so crazy to me. When Trump complains that NO OTHER PRESIDENT HAS BEEN TREATED THIS WAY!!1!1, he needs to get it through his head that no other President has BEHAVED this way in modern history. If you guys haven't seen his Michigan rally comments from yesterday, or his 6-page letter to Pelosi...the stuff he says/does gets more and more cringe-worthy. What ultimately pisses me off about him is he's a bitch: - he talks a lot of game, but when people start to get close to calling him out for bullshit, he levers Executive Privledge more than the last 3 presidents to cover his ass. - he complains about other Presidents' behavior, then golfs and sloughs off more than anyone. - he criticizes past performance, then racks up more debt (Trillions) and can't get the wall going. He has landed a few good wins, but then takes 15 steps back through his other McSteaks. STILL.....stocks are up, people will be happy. It's the economy, stupid. Perception is reality these days and his fake-it-til-ya-make-it actions seem to work at least in the short-term. As I've been saying: if this is his version of "winning", it's a shame that it makes the country so divided. Still can't bring myself to vote for Warren, Sanders, or most of the Dem candidates for 2020. :gabe:
  13. Red interior bits...well done. Great car!
  14. My understanding is that he’s been impeached, but the Senate determines if he is to be removed from office. Same process with Bill Clinton...and like Clinton, the Senate will save Trump. As a GOP member who voted for Trump, I’ve been really disappointed with his behavior on Twitter and the global stage. However, it baffles me more that the Dems cannot galvanize themselves around both the impeachment process and a good candidate for 2020 (elections less than 12 months away!!). Impeachment hasn’t done much to tarnish Trump and he’ll likely survive in 2020.
  15. If the Corvette is in Long Island, keep in mind that Jeg’s includes free shipping. That would normally be at least a couple hundred bucks...
  16. Wow...that seems like a great deal for a complete zero-mile engine with EFI.
  17. Guys, I’ve been with BofA for the last 5 years and it’s exciting to see the expansion we’re finally seeing with new Financial Centers being built around COLUMBUS and Cincinnati! I posted up the Careers webpage, because we have several Relationship Manager and Financial Center Manager positions open. If you’ve got retail/office experience or know someone looking, please let me know and consider posting for a position. Thank you! https://careers.bankofamerica.com/en-us/job-search?ref=search&search=jobsByCityState&city=columbus&state=ohio&country=united+states&searchstring=columbus%2C+ohio&start=0&rows=10
  18. Looks like us car guys will be forced to “walk the desert” for the next few years until we remember that original content and even ads are valuable to our hobby. Tough to see the pendulum swing so far to one side on this.
  19. Man, it doesn't get anymore downtown than that! Awesome new-build unit...really cool to see what downtown is doing. I'll share with a friend from FL whose looking at relo'ing.
  20. I’m at a Christmas family dinner, talking with a longtime family friend. He’s got a 1982 Sea-ox 20’ pleasure boat, and the 1982 Evinrude motor is finally causing troubles. He loves the boat for sentimental reasons (and he takes care of it) so he’s looking to re-power it. Does anybody know of a source for a 150- to 200-horsepower outboard motor? Or know of any resources where he can keep an eye out or call someone who sells used boat motors? Thank you!
