Thanks, guys. I saw a YT vid on disabling OnStar on a 2014+ Silverado. CLOSE ENOUGH. Sent it to my wife and I'm out. Tough situation for this woman, and yes your thoughts are same as mine: cooky husband is going to figure something out when his tracking system stops working. I'm not getting involved in this domestic issue.

My wife’s friend is in a tough situation with a controlling husband...I don’t want to get into it, but wifey wanted me to ask the hive mind of CR: 2016 GMC Yukon Denali - if someone is paying for OnStar, but they don’t want to be tracked by the system, is there a fuse or unit that can be disconnected without affecting other functions of operating the vehicle? Is this something a dealer can do, or DIY?

I’ve got a ‘99 Jaguar XJ8L in Naples that could be for sale. Runs great but needs a bunch of little things (cracked headlights, some interior trim that’s sun-baked).

Pilot's license earned! Great vid...tough to ask the guy to explain what had happened: 1) He's shook 1.5) IT JUST HAPPENED 2) That's an expensive flight for a car 3) You can tell he's stressed about what the damage is going to cost him.

I gotta say...R8 all the way. The big issue for me is a young famiry that really makes a 2-seater unusable. I barely drive 3 of the 6 cars I have anyway and they all have back seats! If not 911 Turbo...then I say R8. They are getting cheaper (esp. autos), and will always be cool and fun to drive. I'm sure they will become more scarce as time goes by.

Saw the car in person and looked around it...it's a damn near perfect car from a garage that's set up by a guy who details cars and takes care of his stuff. Rocky, you want me to share pics? I still stand by sub-$2k cars that run and drive should be bought expecting some sort of major repair. Guys are buying Jeeps and Toyota Tacomas (and other vehicles) all day long for thousands more that have major frame rust. Doesn't exonerate Slimpsy from not disclosing something...but after a week of this discussion I can't reconcile in my mind that Rocky didn't see evidence of serious frame rust when he was doing his own PPI on a $1000 SUV.

I mean....TRUCK TAILLIGHTS. And those fender extensions, while still maintaining a better-than-new trunk gap? Awesome. It cracks me up when people keep locks on the exteriors of older cars these days...seriously, if someone's going to want in on that trunk, they're going to find a way. In a world dominated by instant-access to information and social media dominates most American's intake of "news".... The actual legal process is slooooowww and BORING. Sad to say that unless Bolton has emails, texts, notes to corroborate his claims, no one is going to care much aside from how they already feel about Trump. Which also bothers me about the whole Trump Impeachment process over the last 3 years - how is it that our entire U.S. government is run without any paper trails or data traces? Is Trump calling executive privledge over everything? Talks a lot of bluster about his opponents but quietly ExecPriv's against any REAL incriminating evidence? Otherwise, are Trump's cabinet members and trusted advisers really just doing everything Trump says without any backup in writing? For all the crowing about Hillary's emails years ago, where is anything that Trump tells someone else to do in writing?
