For Cleetus...just looking if anyone has something in good shape that's taking up too much space. If I can't find something for cheap, I'll try to fix/reupholster the bench I already have. Prefer red or white in color. Vinyl/cloth don't matter. Trying to get upholstery without cracks or holes. Prefer bolt-in for 1982 Ford F100/F150, but will drill holes to get it to fit if necessary. Thanks!

Scott's turbo Miata is a fun little monster. Oh...and sparks fly out from the front wheels when he's braking!

Thanks, guys. I'd do it myself if no one steps up by this coming Friday. Just PM me if anyone wants to get in touch with Lyle directly; I'll give you his contact info.

To everyone on CR, I am a happy 34-year old man of sound mind and body. Please let this be an official statement that I will NEVER attempt suicide. I've been through some tough times in life, but I love the world and my place in it. If I die, and police rule it a suicide...DON'T BELIEVE THEM! IT'S A CONSPIRACY!!! I WAS MURDERED AND THERE IS A COVER-UP!!! That said, I sincerely feel for this nurse and her friends and family.

Wow. I've been very impressed with Ford in recent years but reading up on the MT82 is very surprising. Sorry to hear about your problems, Ant! Enjoy the new tee-ruk!

Emboldened by my nearly-successful, tractor-paint job on Cleetus, I'm looking into my next project. Both my wife and I had Suzuki Samurai's growing up in high school, and I would like to look into another 4WD open-top driver for cruising or rough-weather DD work. I'd like to try to get a relatively basic (no A/C or power accessories) Wrangler to fix up cosmetically, and run around town. Something I can enjoy on great days with the family. Paint/bodywork doesn't bother me, since I like the way my truck came out and would be satisfied doing some rust patching on flat panels and painting the body myself for cheap. Any reputable places to look at for used Jeeps? Anyone on CR know of a friend/family member/neighbor that has one possibly for sale? Anyone on here that had a YJ and can give opinions on owning one? I wouldn't be towing or doing heavy mods for off-roading...

Just to put this discussion to bed... I was going to Plasti-Dip Cleetus...put two coats of Tractor and Implement paint on it this weekend. REALLY GLAD I WENT THE PAINT ROUTE (and I'm using a $30 HF gun and $45 worth of paint, hardener, and thinner!) PlastiDip on a $1k truck = bad. PlastiDip on your tits Nova = worse.

Wheels/front bumper/pitted trim going all white. Was going to leave hood patina'd, but now thinking about artwork, patina racing stripes... Still needs another coat or two. I did the mix wrong: instead of 8:1:1 for paint:naphtha:hardener, it was like 40:1:1...shit glomped on like rhino-lining. However, this paint takes 24 hrs to cure between coats and it's leveling really well. Look forward to another coat tomorrow!

Just watched it on Netflix per my brothers recommendation. Excellent sci-fI flick, and I'm not normally one for this genre. Moves quickly with some good action. Not gonna watch "firefly". The movie was good enough for me.
