  2. Gawd...I was ROFLing a few years ago when Brian posted a link to a series of real world smilies. Not Brian......if you're out there..............LOL Thread NEEDS YOU ...
  3. I was, but no longer in the business. 7/66 going inactive this month. Transitioned 2 years ago back into Treasury Management on commercial banking side.
  4. I work for 5/3, and I will confirm that Key, USBank, and Chase are the nationwide leaders (represented here in Central Ohio) that have closed the most SBA loans in 2012. Huntington and Fifth Third are up next...
  5. Was that the kid with the fake Russian accent that did all the videos, or was this guy behind the scenes? DAT AA-12 :megusta:
  6. http://jalopnik.com/5973753/a-boeing-787-is-reportedly-on-fire-at-bostons-logan-airport As an aviation buff, I really want to like the new 787 Dreamliner. Carbon-fiber construction and very efficient...but I also followed the production delays and worries about quality. The Twitter feed in the article is scary...4 electrical fires in 30 days??? Top tip: if flying a long distance, try to select flights using equipment with a better track record.
  7. I let this one die, but the guy just sent me an email back. If it's a fraud, it's really elaborate, and he's giving some pretty good instructions on where he proposes to be! Wedding's in April 27th, and the car would be used to go from the Darby House to the Hampton Inn...16 miles total. More in this guys email... It's late but I'll send his follow-up email to anyone who wants to possibly help this guy out, or knows someone who would as well. Thanks!
  8. If that happened to me driving Cleetus, I'd unscrew the plates and throw up the peace sign as I walk back home. <3 THROWAWAY CAR @ Ford SuperDuty around 5:00 mark. Did the most damage and that guy got it on film.
  9. Thanks guys. I ended up snaking a few times and pulled out pieces of what looked to be a towel. However, I'm pretty convinced - having done this before - that there is a break in the line. I've already contacted my in-laws' plumber, since me renting a scope will be $225 alone. Thanks for the referrals! I'll let everyone know how the plumbing visit goes.
  10. I'm done working on plumbing for the night. Time to drink some beers and watch that movie again.
  11. Last night, I discovered a clog in my main sanitary line. THis morning, I rented a drum snake from Sunbelt Rentals, and I've run what I think is 100' of cable through what should be a 75' line to the city sewer. First run was with the "arrow" bit, and I pulled out some tissue paper and other debris. The second run was with the "coiled saw" bit. I've gone through the second line and the water line hasn't dropped yet. I haven't pulled it out, so I'm hoping for a towel or something that totally clogged the line to come out. Three years ago, I had a total blockage that backed up into the basement. Roto-Rooter scoped the line with a See-Snake and we saw a small group of roots from a clump of trees that have since died. I used the drum snake and pulled out a towel tangled in the roots...cleared the line right up. 1) SCOPE - Does anyone (aside from awesome Ray Hughes) have access to a See-Snake, so we can get a video feed of what's going on in this pipe? 2) COLLAPSE - The saw bit doesn't make the scrape-scrape-scrape noise as it's going down the pipe...and I'm fearing that the line has collapsed and I'm drilling into 75' of dirt. :nooo: However, it also didn't chunk against any roots or pieces of pipe. How do I know that I'm not drilling out the pipe and into my backyard? Any plumbing assistance would be appreciated.
  12. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=693&pictureid=6840 Here's a pic...sorry for the delay as I was getting the drive back from FiL. Hard drive has not been cracked open, ziploc bag contains hard drive, power mgmt, and wiring. Steve, can you PM me your schedule and I can drop it off? If you can't do it, a couple other peeps PM'd me. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR EVERYONE'S HELP!

  14. I've got a well-used set you can borrow. Or, get your own. If you lower one car you're either going to replace struts again in the future or lower another car at some point.
  15. Went golfing a few years ago with some friends, waiting on the foursome ahead of us and my buddy whips out a folding Pocket Fisherman from his golf bag. I sh!t you not he cast a lure into a water hazard and instantly snagged a palm-sized fish. Released it and cast again, drew in an even bigger fish. We had been drinking beers, but regardless of that fact I laughed myself to tears. I thought it was the most ridiculous thing to have in his golf bag...until he proceeded to pull a small meal's worth of fish in 5 minutes. From then on I understood why fisherman bring a tackle kit wherever they go...
  16. I highly recommend The World's Fastest Indian and Senna - streaming on Netflix. Love the idea, but I enjoy drinking with my movies and respect Doc and OMVI waaaaaay too much for this. Good luck and great idea, Scott!
  17. +1. Coming from a suburban youth background myself, I've learned a ton of home repair, fishing/farming stuff from a really good friend with an Eastern Ohio farming upbringing. I don't have a strong desire to go hunting or fishing these days, but I know if I did, I could bounce the idea off his head and he would run with it. Hunting and fishing are definitely things you need to experience firsthand to learn well, or it's self-taught with an amazing amount of trial-and-error. I highly recommend you find someone in your family/social circle that you can tag along with...
  18. Curious about the quarter windows...that's a new design element. Corvette 2+2?
  19. Meh, no hate here. Celebs got paid to send a liberal hipster message. If you paid me, I'd tell the world to go vegan...then put on a mink coat and stop at Five Guys for a dubblecheezburger with the $$$ I made. Sheeple will turn in their pink pistols... B'CUZ BEYONCE
  20. Had vodka at New Albany CC for Kid's 8pm Balloon Drop... ...now at home enjoying leftover bottles of Xmas champagne by the fire.
  21. Major props to Shanton for .org'ing someone else's garage. I'm with Evan; don't know how I'd find anything after someone did the cleanup. Considering people pay taxes and usually a mortgage (i.e. interest) on ALL square-footage of their property, it is amazing how much more stuff a garage can hold when you make small investments to better store things...and therefore be a better use of your money. THORNE: Stud-finder and garage hook multipacks are your friend, and build a rack on the wall for that set of tires. Keep up with keeping your garage clean!
