  1. Lovin' it, Brent! I liked it with the old fender flares, too...but the little touches make the difference and I really like the way this project is going... Props on scoring a 6.0L engine as a service barter deal!!!
  2. I think that's why I like it...already great looking stock body, tiny amount of trim for those that will notice, and a wheel/tire package perfectly proportioned for the program.
  3. Bring it on, haters...I think this is one of the cleanest, best-looking, factory-stock cars that came out of ANY manufacturer in the last 10 years. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/12/21/new-chrysler-300c-motown-edition-spot-features-music-mogul-berry/ Props to the Audi A8-shared ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, but still: no stick-shift, no care. Merry Christmas.
  4. Thank you for putting it together, Jason!
  5. Spidey sense is tingling with this one...
  6. +1. Wonderboy is a ri-TARD...I grew up eastside of Cleveland and lake-effect snow :thumbdown:thumbdown In Akron this morning...2"-5" of snow predicted. :dumb: I'll be back in C'Bus this afternoon.
  7. ^^^Wouldn't that BR-Z have a stock "middle"? :masturboy:

  9. Considering the Catholic church recognizes the possibility of alien life, I'm confident we'll start getting evidence back that life on other planets does exist. Waiting on something from Mars or Europa first, in the next 10 years or less...
  10. I'm tired of gun talk after the CT shooting, so I'm adding something I find fascinating. Hope you do too, CR... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-20770103 I remember as a science- and space-fan in grade school reading a book my parents gave me about what other stars, quasars, etc are out in deep space; how times have changed! While contact with another planet is unlikely in our lifetime, it's amazing to me at what is now known about the universe from what we've discovered in the last 25 years alone. Looking forward to learning more in the next 25 years.
  11. If he could only figure out how to run the rear off of a single rear wheel, it could be registered as a motorcycle (assuming that it's still running a stock Metro 3-cylinder) Is that an exhaust made up of two glasspacks in series? I AM INTRIGUED BY THIS CAR
  12. Someone develop an app that automatically puts watermarks in every pic and video you take on your smartphone... PROFIT.
  13. I sat in Draco's and enjoyed it...reminded me of every "cockpit"-style car interior I've sat in from the '90s: RX-7, my old Corvette, Porsche 944, Nissan 300ZX. I'm sure the car is great, and I appreciate Toyota/Subaru building it. Hopefully it will spurn other carmakers to do the same...which is what us car guys have been saying for years!!! (Build a cheap, RWD sports coupe and it will sell like hotcakes in USA)
  14. Assuming you had a Del Sol in the past? Welcome to the site, but get some pics up!
  15. Will be intadesting when the turbo BR-Z/FR-S comes out...
  16. You gotta find that dood next time...invite him to Cars and Coffee!
  17. Drove to Akron and back on Thursday, Cleveland and back on Friday, Cleveland and back again today. 80+mph, 27+mpg, and smooth as a sewing machine. A ton more pep above 3000rpms than it's had in years. Brought back some old love for the Passat again. The chinky-chinese Sailun tires are hella cupped after 34k+ miles without a rotation ...maybe some RS3-knockoff wheels and new tires?
  18. Wheelcovers - and a majority of the other parts - are Geo Metro.
  19. Why the fook would you put a new engine into a sh!te old tee-ruk??? Oh...wait. Buy Tom's friends' Apache, put JY 5.3 in it...BITCHIN'!!!
  20. I've known that Sean was at N.E.W. in Clintonville (off Indianola) for awhile now, but really never inquired about service...until my Passat wouldn't start a couple of Tuesdays ago! Long story short, Northend Wrench is an awesome service shop. If you don't know the quality, you can at least observe the half dozen or more classic Porsche/VW/Audi metal in the parking lot to know they are decently regarded. Within a couple of days, my car was back up and Sean pointed out a couple of minor fixes for some shit I missed myself. My Passat is 12 years old and DD'ing over 152k miles...but it hasn't driven this nicely in years. I'm a cheap bastard too, but the rates and what they charged me were very fair as well. Needless to say, working on VAG cars is not the easiest thing, but Sean and Northend Wrench are definitely my go-to guys. Check them out.:thumbup:
