Very impressive. I have lightly followed the development of the 918, but knew little of the I/C engine. I loved the "Should we go to race mode?" RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! switch.

If I can't get a historical plate, then this will definitely be an improvement over the farm scene. Add a no-front-plate policy and we'd have the greatest year EVAR.

If you want to stay in an abusive relationship with a guy that uses you and keeps telling you that everything's gonna change for the better if you just stay with him, then nothing I say will sway you otherwise: you'll still be holding onto his turned-out pants pocket as you walk in the yard together. Romney has been successful in business, saved the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, and made measurable progress as Governor of Massachusetts. He's also a dedicated father and husband. He's given 1000x more to charity than both of your candidates. I've offered concrete facts - not Fox News, Tea-Party talking point B.S. - showing how your candidate has failed at his job at a national and local level, and you give me liberal talking points in return and your own prejudiced opinions about his religious beliefs. Good luck to both sides next month. Regardless of the outcome, I plan on working as hard as I can, on my own, to be successful for myself and my family.

We stare at a government-managed unemployment rate - one percentage figure - as the bellweather for the entire economy. If you look at that, Obama has failed to do the things he promised in his first term. If you want to give him a bye, then look - as I just did thru an "all officers' meeting" my company had this morning at the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, kicking off the United Way season for us - at the poverty rates across Central Ohio and the 15 metropolitan "benchmarks" the United Way uses as a measurement. Compared to Cleveland, Indy, Charlotte, Austin, etc...Columbus has the highest poverty rate. It's not even in City of Columbus proper; in Hilliard, Pickerington, Dublin, and Worthington, households living under the poverty line ($32k a year) has gone from 4%-6% 4 years ago to 20%-26% currently. http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2012/09/29/united-way-to-focus-on-poverty.html The economy still sucks, and continues to spiral out of control. As president, it's Obama's fault, and he needs to go. If you want to give him another 4 years, you're looking failure dead in the face and saying it's OK. I say BOLLOCKS to your "New Normal" :thumbdown Guys, I hear you on Ron Paul, Herman Cain, etc...I love a "Fair Tax" more than the next guy. I truly have faith that Romney will do far more than Obama to fix our problems.

1) Let Clay drive CTS-V with modded exhaust 2) Clay does a CR Review about how the "CTS-V is just like a CTS-V" 3) World asplodes? I'm excited to hear your V! In almost every performance car I've heard that has straight pipes back from a stock resonator, it's sounded just as good as the $800+ performance cat-backs. Money well saved.

No problem, Chad. I'm not sure if I'm prepping the metal correctly or what. Even with that, I've got a few holes that are much too big: I'm going to need to go back to creating a filler piece and tacking it in...

"Obama's done a ton"? Is the real unemployment rate lower? How about all of your friends that barely eek out a living without relying on a tax break to write off expenses? To quote my man Denzel on this one: "you cant bullshit a bullshitter". Fact is, Affordable Care Act has done nothing except for diverting Medicare funds to an unproven program that informs Americans about options supported by a private-sector healthcare industry. 2,000 Americans dead in Obama's war in Afghanistan. $17 Trillion in debt that my children are inheriting... I can cite NPR references to denegrate Obama, but with your "Magic underwear" references aside, I'll take a multi-millionaire that's been far more succesful in business over your drug-addicted, Communist-associating, attention-whore from a broken family as President of the United States of America. Brian, that's me keeping it civil. PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST!

Thanks, guys. The pics of George Barris doing leadwork in HOT ROD Magazine made this look a lit easier than I thought. I've got a SP-170...I'll stick to MIG.

Another member on CR was generous enough to give me a 1-ft stick of 70/30 body lead. I was trying to fill in some door and fender holes from rearview mirrors and badges, respectively. When I heated up the door skin, I added some lead, blotted it with a hardwood handle and it would barely stick to the metal. I had the smallest hole filled in, but most of the larger holes would just push lead through, which would harden and break off into the door. I then got some flux from Home Depot, brushed the gray paste on the door, heated it up until it turned to liquid, and tried again with the lead stick. Still no adhesion. I cleaned the area around the holes to be filled with a wire wheel on an air angle grinder, and wiped the bare metal with vinegar before adding the flux. Any assistance on doing this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I agree with you. The fact is that Romney would be a good president, but he's run a poor campaign with terrible PR. I've heard that he's a great debater, so I'm hoping Romney does a great job communicating his plans to the public this week. I see it as his last opportunity to gain traction in this election campaign. Obama has an amazing gift of getting people to like him - and he uses that to his advantage - very much like Bill Clinton. Unlike Clinton, Obama has been ineffectual as President: can't fix the economy, can't control foreign policy. Blaming Congress is more accurate in tracing the problems we're having as a country today. It is what it is, and with business - as in life - timing is 90% of everything, I personally can't see Obama fixing anything in the next 4 years that he hasn't been able to take care of in the last 2-3 years. Many of the global problems that affect us all (Iran/Israel tension, China economic drive, Russian power-struggle, European economic crisis, human rights violations in India, China, Africa) are out of control, and he's done a piss-poor job using the U.S. and his powers for positive change. Personally, I'm done complaining about "the lesser of two evils". In history, good presidents have been military leaders, or successful in business. Obama is neither, Bush was neither, but Romney has something. It's enough for me to give him my vote.

A lotta flash and the reference of an American Dream, but in the end it's just jacked waaaaay too high, funded by someone else's debt. Wait...is that Obama? MAKES PERFECT SENSE

This is a forum for people that like to spend money on cars and working with their hands. Obama is catering to a population that is increasingly getting used to having as much handed to them (or, taken care of for them) as they can get, and will adapt their lifestyle to accomodate that comfort. Romney is catering to a group that understands the future is risky, but will continue to push for future personal success knowing that if they fall short, their life will still be fruitful and they won't have any regrets. Both parties believe government provides an outline to our lives, with structure, regulation and insulation. The differences are in WHAT and HOW MUCH the government will be responsible for on a day-to-day basis. To quote Public Enemy's "Muse Sick n Hour Mess Age"... WHAT SIDE YOU ON?
