  1. Thanks guys. Chandler, if you find anything let me know what you want for it. I'll need 100ft for speaker wire. Guys, OF COURSE I know I can get stuff at Amazon. I just wanted to see if anyone had some good stuff from past projects they'd be looking to sell or give away. It's really not about being cheap; it's simply checking with other car guys if they have quality wiring components that they want to get rid of. Reduce, reuse, recycle bitches!
  2. Looking for quality 14 gauge speaker wire, and power/ground wiring for installing stereo and amplifier in my Lincoln.
  3. Scored some Modular Performance (eBay specials) 18x8.5s for $100 in Springfield through CL. Guy I bought them from turned out to be a pretty big Volvo guy...had a sweet 850 Turbo all built up. Pretty happy about these wheels as getting both 5x108 pattern AND the right offset is tough for these cars! I'm fighting Focus RS/ST guys for used wheels on CL and FB Marketplace I think they’ll look great after it’s lowered. Plan is to clean them up, new tires, and paint the centers gold "Like the Subaru WRX", says my son. If he's happy, I'm happy.
  4. Bill Dyer (former Ohio Cobra Club guy) put together a showing for the new "Ford vs Ferrari" movie opening next week. It'll be showing at AMC Lennox theaters during Cars and Coffee: - Saturday November 16th - 11am showing - $8.00/ticket - Free coffee/donuts at CC&C that morning - Police on site to watch the parking lot (for anyone concerned about their prized ride during the movie) To reserve your ticket, please contact Bill directly at 614-348-0689 (call/text) or email @ BDyer2@gmail.com We'll be getting word on Facebook shortly. Hope to see you there!
  5. I heard about Eddie Murphy playing the role of dolomite in this film on Howard Stern. Snoop Dogg was raving about his performance. Just saw it tonight, and it was really well done. Will definitely watch again.
  6. I like the idea, especially with the number of pre-kid, car-loving Millennnials that are doting over their dogs. I am not one to offer confirmation on appropriate livery, but Martini, Subaru are definitely unmistakable.
  7. That was my understanding as well. For a huge, HUGE facility...less than 200 employees and mostly in security and maintenance. They suck down a phenomenal amount of electricity, from the local infrastructure load standpoint.
  8. I've got the title free and clear. Couple of accidents under my watch, no salvage title or anything, both fixed by Kevin Clifford. If you send me an email addy I can forward you a message I sent someone else, with pics.
  9. https://www.bizjournals.com/columbus/news/2019/10/21/facebook-more-than-doubles-acreage-of-new-albany.html?ana=e_du_prem&j=84563871&t=Afternoon&mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiTmpNMVpUWXpZak5tTkRBdyIsInQiOiI4UzIzRmtsYWVCU1pGeTdINk1SdVZtR0NMQ3cyd1plTHhsMEVMOCtHSlNPVko5VXFMVWFXZUJpdVZYV3pXa0VST2FkOEhqeDdibTgrbTZjMXM2R2g1VWZuRFBKSmxOUmhsS1A1UnozeEFuNjVGS2I3U2s4MDZsZCtDeWpJaU1lMyJ9 The numbers around setting up these data farms are absolutely staggering...to speak not just of the $51MM in land around their New Albany site they bought just to hold onto it in case-ies. We all live on FB - even if you don't post, you've probably signed into apps and websites with your FB profile, or at least liked posts...or shopped online through retailers that rely on FB data metrics - so we're beyond berating the beast at this point. Just amazes me that we're "producing" so much data, that they need $4.2 BILLION in construction and they're still building data farms. "Hey...you're breaking up. Yeah, I'm driving down Beech Road and the high-tension wires are interfering with my cell. Yup, I can hear the buzzing too. My head kinda hurts..."
  10. Gonna miss you, bud! Congrats on the house and good luck with the move!
  11. No worries, Jake. Thanks for promoting the car!
  12. Jake, sent you an email. Current mileage is 130,141. Thanks!
  13. 1) I’m driving my 2019 Lincoln MKC as my daily. 4K miles since mid-August. 2) Wifey doesn’t drive the V anymore. She wants a Tesla Model S. 3) Kids are bigger fans of our Turbo S60 now, especially after I did an axle-back. 4) if it doesn’t sell at $8500, I’ll keep it!
  14. Firm floor for this winter: $8,500 I’ve got 6 cars, and this one is the most disposable for the most money. Don’t need to sell, but I’m not driving it much.
  15. For Sale: Four (4) 255/35-19 Continental ExtremeContact. Was on my bud's 2019 Audi A5 that was delivered from the South, and he just put on all-seasons. Less than 5k miles on them. There were two huge punctures - screw and a nail, see pics - which he didn't even realize until they were removed so no air leaks but you'll obviously want to patch the punctures. $120. I need to split the profits with him. I may keep these but currently no plans for 19's on anything I drive. EDIT: I ended up using them in February, 2020 on my Volvo on some 19's I found. Funny how things work out!
  16. Great score! Offset looks perfect up front. Looking forward to seeing it sitting lower at some point!
  17. That Forza screenshot looks really good.
  18. I'll agree with you if the Bronco ends up being a flop. Coming from the same company that did the Raptor, I'm hoping Ford took their time to make this thing the right way. I'm giving bonus stars to Ford for being the only major OEM to produce any sort of competitor to the Wrangler for the first time since the '80s/90s. Granted, Hoonigan took two Icon-modified off-roaders - the new Ranger and a Gladiator - around a dirt track in Utah, and on 37"s that Gladiator looked like it just ate up the dirt and jumps with ease...the Bronco is going to have to come out swinging.

  20. From what I read, the angle gear tends to be "bulletproof"*, and the AWD was going to be the AOC pump siezing from dirty/old fluid in the rearend, causing the DEM computer to fry. * - I do like this car as a DD, but everyone online says that the Volvo AWD system is "bulletproof". That's a f**king laugh M8 when the angle gear can go bad in the transfer case, and $1000 worth of Haldex parts goes bad in the rearend. Oh yeah, and the system can't really take more than 300-350ft/lbs of torque before blowing...
  21. First off, the door panel is ridic easy to take off. One of the blue blocks popped off the regulator ball socket...regreased the track and it popped back on? Been operating just fine today with the cooler weather. I went with Vogtland springs for the S60R I posted earlier. $213 shipped is tough to beat. I think both S60 and S60R are Haldex units, which uses a pump to pressurize fluid around the clutch packs to engage the rear diff. I haven't even gotten into the system yet but will get around to it at some point. When it was raining last weekend, there was a terrible screeching noise coming from the underside of the car...could hear it through the floorboard. I was guessing it may have been the pump? I don't know.
  22. I think that could definitely be in order! Problem will be in scheduling, not our cars' abilities. Hit me up sometime. Anyone having good luck with Letgo? Seems like some weird advertising for 'hood tire shops. OfferUp is better, but still not the marketplace that FB has... Craigslist...just...died...for car parts. I'm honestly shocked how bad it's gotten.
