  1. Co-worker of mine just called, apparently two weekends ago his wife was out with co-workers at a quarterly get-together. They went to TopGolf, then for some reason drove all the way out to Plain City to go bowling. On the way back to Reynoldsburg area, the driver (SRT Charger) was going way too fast, lost control of the car and slid into a utility pole. He was DUI.

My buddy's wife was on the side that took the brunt of the impact. Her injuries were so severe that apparently her heart stopped a couple of times. Over the last week, she's had multiple surgeries and while she's expected to recover, it's going to be a lot more before she gets better.

He did consult an attorney this morning, as it's apparent that with so many planned surgeries and medical costs skyrocketing, he needs representation to go after the insurance company to retain as much in funds as they will give, but also sue the driver as a backup if needed.

My question for CR not whether or not an attorney should be signed, but if anyone has had good experiences? Recommend an attorney?

My wife is checking with a couple law contacts and I texted Doug Funkhouser.

    Thanks in advance, CR!

  2. I'm more interested in The Escargot.

Their "cheap" Project Racement series was very cool to watch.

Not hating on Project Binky....but goes to show how much you get invested in something only to be somewhat disappointed by the final outcome. Still a very cool car. It really is crazy to know all of the time and engineering that went into all the packaging you can't see under the skin.

  3. Buddy of mine works at Lev's Pawn Shop where that waterbed Cadillac is for sale. base was a Cadillac Limo chassis. It was made for a local rap group who was doing a music video, but the group broke up. There aren't any headlights but it runs and drives. The "electrical tape", my guess, is to break up the huge white body visually.

Fun fact he discovered: when you drive it with water and people in the hot tub, you have to watch how hard you brake or it sloshes water all down your back.

There is a storage warehouse that has an amazing amount of stuff and some really interesting cars as well.

  4. When Upper Arlington was messing with me for my RV's code violations a couple of months ago, I called nearly every public storage facility within 270 and near westside for a 20-25' space to possibly store it off-site...waiting lists everywhere. Just some perspective.

Wish I could help but good luck!

  5. Gaddamn!!! I will say my company car 2019 MKC gets gas-station tunnel car washes, and at only 11k miles the swirling is crazy. Tim is spot-on…great to get a low-mile high-optioned car whenever possible.

I love the color with the lime accents but personally hate gloss black wheels. Not much brightwork elsewhere on the car though.

    Looks awesome per the usual.

  6. I have a 2006 as my track car. Gutted and caged, with full suspension. The chassis is really good, same from 05-14. Motor sounds great just not overly fast. The coyote cars made these largely irrelevant, but they have a great spec iron class for 3v cars. You also just get to worry about mods and maintenance vs chassis stiffening and rust.

I have aftermarket springs, konis, a full black interior that Id sell cheap also.

Very cool! I didn’t know you had that. Would love to see pics sometime.

  7. It's not sub $6k but close enough. It has a live rear axle too, but the better kind with a panhard rod. Still can't get over the McPoverties.

I know this era of S197 Mustang is a *little* more refined as it was developed when Ford owned Jag and they came out with the Lincoln LS. Don't ever see anyone modding/tracking them from a good performance standpoint...though the Shelby GT500 is a scorcher.
