  1. Great info guys thanks a bunch! I'm definiatly going to do my homework and "interview" them to see if they can meet my needs. I'll be in touch with some of you to get your opinion as well. If things go as planned, I will be making my purchase this coming January 2011. While using my current heads and LS6 Intake, I hope to make at least 480 RWHP and 480 RWTQ. It's hard to say how my STG 2 Absolute Speed heads will perform on a stroker but it will only be for a short while.
  2. keep them coming.... If you have any contact info, please post up. Thx....
  3. Hi guys, There's a chance I might be upgrading to a 416 LS3 short block this winter for my 2001 Camaro SS M6. As of right now my plans are to get a LS3 416 short block, 242 - 246 114 or 116 lsa cam, reuse my ported LS1 heads, and LS6 intake so I can get it up and running and make it somewhat affordable. Probably after a year or 2, I'll upgrade the heads and intake to really maximize my combo, probably with AFR heads and a 92 or 102 FAST intake. A few people on here that really know who I am and have seen my car, knows I'm kinda anal when it comes to my car. I will be installing this in my garage. I have the tools and knowledge to do it myself along with a few friends to lend a hand. Does anyone know of a good shop in Ohio that has a lot of experience with LS1 engines and stand behind their products and work without balking at the ideas of putting some kind of warranty in writing? I would rather drive to the shop and pick it up then pay for S&H, that way I can meet the people that built it. When it comes to my car, I have trust issues and if I'm going to drop over $5,000 on a short block I want the best with a reasonable price and somekind of workmanship warranty. I know IPS does a ton of LSx work and I hope/expect them to chime in and offer their opinion on who they trust. Thanks in advance, Bill
  4. I recently got out the few Cox engines I have and been playing around with them with my son and he loves them. I always had a blast just tinkering with them as a kid. I'll take the plane. I'd love to teach him how to fly one of those. If you have this stuff, send me a PM with your contact info so we can meet up. Thanks... Bill
  5. Does anyone on here have any of the old Cox .049 gas (nitro) engines and such they want to get rid of? Used, new, incomplete, doesn't matter. Any size engines or parts - .010 , .020 , .049 , .051 , .074 , .09 , .15 Thanks, Bill
  6. We tried Goodwill for last years stuff and they were picky and didn't want a lot of things. Maybe I should post a pic on here. Off the top of my head its the following: - 15' Intex pool cover NIB - about 15 gift bags - Computer keyboard - Purple DS case - Wireless "B" router booster - Onstar car rear view mirror - 2 Friends VHS tapes
  7. I have some left overs from my garage sale I had a few months that I'd rather give away for free than throw it away. Are there any places that takes misc stuff? It's all small stuff fits in a tote. Sure I could post it on craigslist or on here but to be honest it's not worth my time to make $5-10 bucks...
  8. Glad to hear your doing better. Hopefully you beat this for good! Be safe and take care... Bill
  9. Congrats... At least the 2 will grow up together. I kinda wish mine were a little closer in age.
  10. If you can't afford $35,000+ for a new 2010-2011 Camaro SS then maybe you can afford this, A 20" Camaro PC. Its not the most powerful thing but cool. http://www.autoblog.com/tag/camaro+computer/
  11. If all else fails..... Get a stock 1998-2002 F-body, add a $90 airlid and your doing 13.5 all day long...
  12. You too? lol One of the best time of the year.
  13. Glad your ok, Thats always my fear when I drive my car is a dip shit running a light and such.
  14. I'm interested in the gas cans. Where you located at? Bill
  15. Ride the inclines.... My sister lives there and I hate driving around that town, sucks ass. Awesome view from the ball park...
  16. Theres a system in the Probe? I never knew that. What are the specs? I use to be into car stereos big time back in the 90's. The loudest one I ever installed was in the 130db range, I know weak by todays standards...
  17. I bought my Troy Built 24" from Lowes about 5 years ago. Works rather well for the little bit of snow we get around here. Just buy a new one so you know its good plus finding a good used one now is gonna be hard.
  18. Have you used that service before, seems too good to be true.
  19. I'll take one! BTW - I tune LSx cars as well. Bill
  20. Can you buy the top billboard Rock and Metal songs like the Blitz plays on CD's like the NOW - That's what I call music series? I like a lot of those songs on the Blitz but don't want to buy the whole album. I know you can download the songs but I'd rather buy a CD if it's possble since most of the time it's more expensive to download (legally) than to buy the same songs on CD. Plus I like to have a hard copy, I guess I'm old school. I prefer to convert my own music to MP3 as I see fit.
