Ordered my car July of 2000, received it October 4th 2000 as a 2001 model.

Thanks for being so harsh guys.... I already have a 2 year assoc in electronics with 15+ years experience and jobs are scarce, at least good paying ones are. I also have training in soldering, solar, residential & industrial wiring. When Lucent shut down and outsourced everything, I qualified for the TAA program, since I already have a degree they wouldn't pay for another degree so my options are limited. With having a family to take care of, it took me most of the year to complete the courses. I don't expect to start out making 50k a year, but getting a MCSA can't hurt my search for good employment. You can never have enough education unless you come from a family of wealth which I do not.

Last week I took my last test for my MCSA. So now that I'm "certified" anyone know of any decent jobs out there? (I know, don't laugh) I also have an Associate in Electronic Engineering with many years experience with electronics. I have about 15+ years personal experience with computers but never did it for a living. I even have a Entry Level certification in Solar PV systems. Looking for a job east of I-71 since I live on the east side of town. Bill

You guys call this snow? Its a dusting at most. This is nothing, from where I use to live, they don't measure in inches, they measure in FEET. Last year they got over 12 feet of snow. Here comes another winter with "wonderful" drivers... lol

Cobolts are nice cheap cars. Enjoy... If things turn around for us, we thought about buying a Cobolt SS before you can't get them anymore.

Buy a fake one for $100, it will last 6-8 years if you take care of it and you can put heavy ornaments on it.

I think its BS. I don't watch 80% of the channels yet I don't have a choice on which ones I want to pay for. It's not just WOW (which I have) but it's all the providers including Direct TV and Dish. I'm not a sports fan yet I have to accept and pay for sports channels I never watch, sounds fair to me... They need to group similar channels together and give people better choices. Last week I called in to see what WOW could do for me to get the Science channel. It would cost me $12/month to get that 1 channel. Sure I got a whole bunch more (95% I will never watch), I only wanted the one. The guy ended up giving the "package" to me for free for the next 6 months. When XM and Sirius merged, it was suppose to be better for the consumer. You could pay for groups of channels you wanted. Yeah, that worked. In reality, for me to keep the same service with my current radio, I had to pay an additional $2.99 month so I could listen online and if I wanted to "pick" my channels, I'd have to buy a new radio for over $100.00, to save $2-3 a month. If these networks didn't pay the actors and people they endorse big money, our rates would be less.

With that said, I guess it's no different than schools saying they need money and the state won't give it to them so they beg the tax payers and make them feel guilty. Sure I'm glad it's back but after I drove one, I wasn't as impressed as I hoped I'd be. I'm sure at the end of 2010 or so, there will be some good rebates on them. For those that haven't driven one yet, do so, your opinion will change of the car.

I just bought one on Black Friday for $30. It works awesome, you just need to have high speed internet, a open USB port and your computer on for it to work. The sound quality is just like a real phone. I've made about a dozen calls now and everyone says I sound the same. I highly recommend it!

There was a point in my life I was kinda like that, mainly when COFBA was around (2002 - 2005). Once the kids came and got older it toned down a lot because my kids/family are more important than a physical object. Basically you shift your free time around and kids do require a lot of you time. I'm going to guess you don't have kids yet, once you do, you will change, we all do... Now if I hit the lottery big and never had to work again in my life, I'd have probably 20-30 cars in a big garage so I can tinker... A man can only dream.... lol
