    the best safest place for the oil filter to be if it will fit is screwed right on the block otherwise even with a check valve in the line and the filter the motor has to pump oil all the way to the remote filter every time you stop and start the engine.... if you absolutely need one keep the lines as short as possible...

    it all depends on the product high margin items have a better discount. Oil, Antifreeze, trans fluid, gear oil etc.... have the pricing set through corporate and the only discount allowed is whatever is on special for the month.

    I can look around some, but if marshall's in circleville had it for 1299, your probably not going to find it any cheaper..... you can try Augies Import America up by Cleveland, they won't be cheaper but the quality will be better
