reringed the turbo donkey
2.2L chrysler 9.5.1 comp
TRW heavy duty rings
I can get the boost as low as 4psi to break it in
anyone have a recomended mileage
with an n/a car I just let it idle with changing rpm for 15-30 minutes and then go beat the shit out of it for about 40 miles making sure to constantly vary rpm
with the added cylinder pressures from the turbo its probably not good to break it in that way though
they jam often enough that shooting a 1950's vintage AK is way more fun and generally cheaper too.
look into the 50 cal conversion its a special short round and everything if I can find the website I'll pass it along.
what kind of car?
exactly where is it leaking?
DO NOT REPAIR IT WITH RADIATOR HOSE! they make large diameter fuel hose if its in a spot thats patchable
if its a pretty common car I'd hit up the wrench it and get a used one
I'm betting on spun main or rod bearings.
I would talk to craig or kevin marshall at eastland recovery and find out who they are using for engine work on their race car
or you might talk to bgbdbn on here he's got a big block mopar thats all built up too.
he'd be better off with a 50 cal conversion .223 or 5.56mm nato whatever ya wanna call it just doesn't have any knockdown power. the upper half conversin is about the same price and its much more fun to shoot
