  3. just as I get my shadow all togehter including making the AC work assembling the interior and finishing off the tranny swap the stupid transmisson in my dakota decides it no longer wants to go in reverse. I already put a stick in the shadow becuase the automatic died has anyone else on here with a chrysler product had automatic tranny problems or is mine just fucked from getting sprayed too many times? also if anyone sees a 98-04 dakota in the junkyard with a good transmisson in it let me know thanks
  4. if your going to mount it right on the bottle use the kit the nitrous comapny sells I used the NX bottle mounted guage it was reasonable priced and accurate
  5. I'm a carpenter pressure treated lumber nothing else will work minimum 36" in the ground if your going to beat on it go 48" you need to use hot dip galvanized or stainless steel fasteners anything else will rot away in a matter of months attatch the bands to the posts with lag bolts the floorjoists are going to require joist hangers and special nails use screws to hold the decking down. if you can show me a picture of what you want I can make you a material list so you can estimate your costs hope this helps use the 80lb bags of quikcrete concrete mix you just have to add water

  19. in a chevy truck the lock cylider moves a metal rod that runs down the steering colum to the actual ignition switch if you can get the rod loose push the switch maunualy and see if it will start if it won't the switch needs replaced. I woulda told you on the phone but I had to think about it and then double check in a service book. also check and make sure the clutch start switch is good some switches kill the starter and some just kill the ignition. hth
  20. if you think your going to find anything better than 300 I want whatever your smokin on cuase that shit must be good. you can't do it yourself that cheap. I wouldn't touch a motor swap for under 500 bucks and even then I'd be losing money on the deal
  21. anybody know how to rebuild one of these? I can have it out and ready and a rebuild kit ready to go. all ready has a trans go shift kit installed. if a bench rebuild doesn't come with a warranty wheres a reasonable plae to get one rebuilt I can't seem to get a price quoted under 1000 dollars and no way am I paying that much when the stupid rebuild kit is only 150 dollars. hell I'll even help someoen do it I just don't have acces to the special tools it requires. thanks
