I sent a care package to this guy and he posted on Anysoldier.com with the following. Good schtuff. 11 Mar 2005: Dear American Citizens, WOW!!!! That is honestly the only word that can describe what you all have done. I posted on AnySoldier.com a couple weeks ago, and on the 11th of March I came into work and there was a pile of mail there. It was absolutely positively awe-inspiring. As we sat around (in the tiny amount of time we have to sit around) and read the dozens of letters, I don't think there was a dry eye in the room. I know, I know, Marines aren't supposed to show that smile.gif . Be it from laughing at the hilarious (sometimes a little odd) humor or getting a little tug at the heart from the sincerity, patriotism, support, and emotion shown in the letters, it touched us all. We, as members of the military, have a good grasp on reality (usually) so we understand that there are those that support us and there are those who don't. We are fine with that. It is differing views which makes our country so incredible. But, none of us realized how extensive that support was. To know that each and every single one of you who wrote took time out of your life, your schedule, and your hobbies to write to a stranger, well, it really shows how remarkable the average American is. So, as we plow through your letters and disperse them to the Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen who need them and want them, please pat yourself on the back. I know for a fact, that in our unit, you all have probably increased the morale enough to sustain us throughout the rest of this year we are here. Every last person back there in the States makes what we are doing over here worth it. If you agree with the war or not, at least you are standing by our side and urging us on. No one will ever truly know what effect that letter they put in the mail will have on someone. As for the letters we got, though, I am certain that each and every one showed at least one Marine that he has a purpose and a foundation. So, each and every one of you WILL get a reply and hopefully a pen pal if you want! Thank you all......from the bottom of our hearts....Thank you. Semper Fi and God Bless. Sincerely, Sgt Richard (Andy) Dorsett

Depends on if you plan on taking a riding class. You can start on a 1300 busa if you are smart about it. Take the riding course and then decide what type of bike you want. I know a guy selling a 1999 Ducati 900 Se for $5500

Moving Around In Navy Equipment. I would hold out for a good incentive program. Signing bonus, advancement in rank, something.

Tons, it is crazy, all the ladys want to drive the beemer. Actually, I just put in my 2 weeks due to getting another job. They have a sweet car program after 6 months. It is really hard getting in here, basically you have to start at the bottom, they do all promotion from inside.

Welp, I am at the second job at BMW FS and it is hot as a crotch in here, and not in a good way.

Davidson, that is a substation, and it isn't that sub!

Qwest, Nationwide, BMW FS etc are all on generator.

I buy them on big items. The reason people hate them is because they are what you make money on so you try to sell it on everything. "Have you seen our DVD replacement program on that DVD Mr. Smith?" I don't need a service plan on my DVDs I buy out of the $4.99 bin. I recently purchased a DLP bigscreen, HDTV upgrade for my directv and got the plan. The people that installed it smelled and didn't work for circuit city. Then when I have a claim Circuit City was going to dispatch the tech, have me pay for it and then get reimbersed. I DON'T THINK SO. I had to force them to get involved at NO cost or potential cost to me. If you are going to sell the plan you need to make damn sure the company is going to stand behind it.

Please, no comments about the war or anything like that. I am posting this to draw some attention to the needs of some of our troops. I have been on long deployments and know what it is like to be missing things I had back in the US. You can go to www.anysoldier.com and look up a solder and see what they need (AA batteries for things like CD players or flashlights, magazines, cookies, whatever) and put a care package together. There is nothing like being out and getting mail or a taste of home.

Sears Hardware does. Not in the mall, the stores out by themselves (roberst rd).

This is stupid but once you setup the router, you have to shut down the whole works for 5 mintues (let the head-in gear's cache to clear). If you still have problems you need to get into the router and see if it is catching an IP address from the ISP.

Why not look on Honda's website for interns? MECH E should work in your favor.

I agree that anyone under 16 should not be driving around and the speed limit in the pits is way less than most of them drive. But charging $10 is not going to stop this behavior. Throwing a few "daddy's" out for not policing their own kids will stop it.

Quad runner, towing vehicle, yadda yadda yadda. I think motorized.

You need to read this month's Sport Diver, all about the PAC.

Dude, get moved over to the IPOD thing. I bet the pace will be glacial and you can spend all of your time dreaming of St. Lucia!

In an effort to get some more money from the racing community, NHRA has imposed the following fee. All Pit Vehicles must be registered and this registration will cost $10. Nice huh? Also, they had kicked the idea around about charging for trailers that are greater than 30 feet in length. I guess they realized that is stupid but somehow the pit vehicle thing stuck.

Ok, my dream job would be like a pro-diver or something. I am a networker now, but I am getting frustrated. I have a BSBA and like business but cannot seem to crack my way into management. What is a lucrative market to get into? I almost want to go back to my hometown and open a call center, cheaper labor and I would be in the town I love.

North Korea has ICBM equipped submarines. IRAN probably doesn't have ICBM equipped subs, but that doesn't mean they cannot get here. But they can set one off abroad and effect us (remember Marine Barracks in Beruit).

Ok, wireless interent. Lets define that first. Does he have a wireless AP in his house that is hooked to a cable modem, or is it purely wireless to the ISP? If he just hooked it up and it isn't working, make sure he RTFM first. Often they require powering down the broadband router for a time during the install.

Yes, the feeling I got from them was that I would be making less than $10 for a long time. I needed a part-time job, but not something that didn't pay well. BMW FS pays much better...
