  2. Bonds are good for kids, but that cannot be the entire present. Kids like to open something and play with it. I would suggest something educational but fun. Leap Pad's are good. Computer games like Reader Rabbit are one of my son's favorite things to do. Just remember, Kindergarten is just around the corner and reading and word recognition skills are good to have. Other than that, 3 year olds like Dora usually, maybe a video.

    Ah fuck....

Weak. I want to see 5 days with snow before I start to worry.
  7. Actually you can fire on combatants if you believe they are commiting a deadly sin, stealing arms that can be used against anyone, theft of sensitive materials, bla bla bla.... Like I said, I have been trained in rules of deadly force, I would stick to my training on this on and state I believed this person was threatening civilians.

Taylor Tire, see the consumer reports section.
  9. I kept seeing on tv people saying OSU is number one. I guess in the context of the game they where, however in the context of standings they aren't even close.
  10. When I was in I had authorization for deadly force, there where 7 deadly sins. This guy must have commited one.
  11. I think if I was there I would should the journalists.
  12. You are the calltech whore. Hey, why didn't they call me back on the apple gig?
  13. I am CCNP, CCAI, CNA, A+ and N+. A+ and N+ where both books and experience. The CCNP was via a bunch of classes. Yes there are CCNP boot camps but they cost $10,000 to $12,000 dollars. MCSEs are pretty easy to find, but the recent changes in the path have removed some of the dilution. I wouldn't go to boot camp for it expecting to make $80,000 when you get out. Entry into the computer tech field usually comes from a help desk somewhere, it sucks but can be a great foot in the door. Other than that you either need to know someone in the industry that will give you a shot and mentor you, or you have to lie you ass off. I wouldn't do that cause in this industry I can smell a lie like a fart in the car. Certs are a tough call, nothing can replace experience.
  14. See this rice, it is just regular rice, right? But it is brown, so they call it *wild*.
  15. I bought mine, like it, quite happy.

  17. wow, some very good stuff. People that have never seen the phone system in Europe will never get how crappy it is here in the US. All of europe is one standardized network with NO roaming. If you are in England on your English phone and you travel to Sweden, you don't even see a change in the rate. It is crazy, full signal E V E R Y W H E R E. Not the same here because no one will agree to a standard and develop 1 2 1 agreements. TMO has this in areas where AT&T is prominant and for that I am greatful cause I have been all over the US and never roamed (when I had signal). Why do my topics either get NO love or turn into multi-page heated arguments?
  18. I guess Chicks need a motorcycle too.

    My new whip

I get 6 or 7 channels in HD via directv, I get 4,6,10, 28, 34 over the air via my antenna (same signal quality). the great thing about over the air HD is multi channel signal so you can watch several shows on the same channel. the HD package is $12 per month extra.
  21. I don't need data on the go, I need to get a connection when I place a call and the connection needs to stay while I am talking. Got dropped tonight on the way home on Alton Darby Creek in Hilliard.
  22. I was just in there today. They have the coolest alignment machine I have ever seen. Laser adjustment for toe, caster, camber, the whole shooting match. They can do anything from an old vw beetle to the largest fire truck and anything in between.

    My new whip

I have a 50" RCA DLP and HD over Directv. I do the same, watch any show cause it is HD. I am really digging American Chopper in HD. Plus all of the extreme engineering shows.
  24. I have Tmobile now. I loved it when I went to Sweden and it worked, worked in Jamaica and the Bahamas without a problem. But, it doesn't work about 10 feet from my house (I can see a cell tower). I am smack dab in the middle of the coverage area, near 70, and I have no signal. In cities GSM rules, it is the reason why it is the european standard. You want service 1/4 mile into the earth surrounded by Granite? GSM is for you. However, if you are not in the city near repeaters and cell towers, you are screwed. So, my problem is that my phone doesn't work at my house, I know that Verizon and Nextel does. I don't like AT&T and since they merged with Cingular I will never go with them. I know enough people that have Sprint to know that it is the worlds best portable answering machine. Often they get VMs for calls that never rang into the phone. The problem with Verizon is the 2 year contract, I am not financing a car, I don't need a long contract.
  25. So, like it says. I currently have Tmobile. I have 3 lines and need to port all three numbers. I need to have shared service between the three lines and nation wide calling. If anyone works selling cell phones let me know. I am thinking Nextel or Verizon. Bottom line, when I want to use my phone, IT HAS TO WORK. Discuss.
