  1. Deportation Cannon, it is Mexico's job to put the catch net up. You would only have to shoot 3 or 4 people back to Mexico.
  2. I had XM for free in my Honda. I like it, I like the selections, they are commercial free now, good tunes. Plus, the thing worked like, everywhere, even in parking garages.
  3. All of his allegations are totally believable. I remember I had some football players in my ECON classes, they showed on the first day, talked to the prof. never seen again. Now, even more shocking, this happens at every university with a big football program. You cannot tell me that the "true seniors" interviewd on ESPN after 4 years of college can really sound like that much of an idiot.

    help needed

Forest Gump's vietnam scene sent my father into a flash back, so did Apocalypse Now and Full Metal Jacket. You need to be a bit more specific about what kind of war movie. I personally can watch any submarine movie but I love the old WWII Navy movies. Branch of service and War would help. Red Dawn is kick ass too.
  5. They are only running 1/8th mile at trails. I think if any track is still open I would run very conservatively.
  6. It is possible to run Ethernet over anything. Train tracks (many train companies use it), Long Reach Ethernet can run over things like barbed wire, power lines, just about anything.

    Body Shop?

Agresti Brothers Body Shop in Plain City. They have done work on my cars before, good paint mixing and matching.
  10. I use my IPOD as a HD all the time.
  11. I have an iPod. I am a Mac guy so it made sense to me to get it. I really like it, good battery life, it integrates with my digicam so I have a 15GB compact flash card for the cam. I like the interface and the scroll wheel. The next gen will let you view photos on the pod so that will be cool. I haven't used the Dell DJ but I really do like the IPOD, wouldn't change a thing about it.
  12. I have kids and hate people driving fast by my house. My kid knows to stay out of the street but things happen and he might run after something. If you don't want to slow down at my request that is fine, but if you hit my kid because you are stupid you will die. I never take it any further than yelling for them to slow down, and I certainly wouldn't shoot a pellet gun at a car, that is just plain dumb.
  13. I read this, and as a father and a human, could not concieve what is in this guys head. That kid should be given a purple heart for going thru that. The guy obviously needs the kind of help only a needle in the arm, the chair, firing squad, public hanging or syphillus can provide. That kid was awesome, seems like he will live but after seeing his mother killed and his dad stabbing him he will probably need some serious help.
  14. The best gifts for women are gifts that require a great deal of effort on your part (sacrifice). A surprise party with loads of planning, or something that takes a bunch of thought to coordinate. She will appreciate it.
  15. Taylor Tire in Dublin. They are really good people. 614-873-7107 8070 Corporate BLVD, Plain City (don't be fooled by the address they are really close to True Performance).

    Turnkey racer

Well, given the environment surrounding NHRA and the fact that racing has become less and less fun due to politics. Paul has decided to sell everything and take up flying. So, it all has to go. $32K for trailer 42' goose neck with living quarters in the front. Furness. Head with shower, toilet, sink. Fridge. Microwave. Kitchen sink. 40 gallon freshwater tank and grey and waste tanks. Has Queen bed and convertable table/bed. Onan propane generator, fridge runs off of propane, AC or DC. $25K for car turnkey 2000 Spitzer 23T Altered certified to 7.50. With a small modification it could meet the new 6.50 requirments, chassis has 200 passes. Has a 572 CI DRCE Merlin block made by Lukovich. Jesel valves, Dart tunnel ram, Ron's flying toilets, JE pistons. Dedenbear SFI spec tranny case with TCI powerglide. All in excellent shape. As it sits today it will run 7.70s pretty consistantly. $15K for car as a roller $12K for motor
  18. If you have been following the Pro Stock Truck Association's law suit with NHRA you would know that NHRA was trying to give the PSTA National Trail Raceway. But did you know they also tried to give them IRP? This article is pretty good. I think PSTA is going to bankrupt NHRA, maybe then we can get together and buy trails and fix it. http://www.competitionplus.com/2004_09_15/pro_stock_truck.html

    Lasik

Here is where I went. http://www.lasikplus.com/index.shtml
  22. As to the topic at hand. I have learned many things in my life, how to correctly ride a motorcycle, how to setup networks, how to drive a car and on and on. The learning process for almost all of these where the same, I went to a school of some kind for it. New Albany has shooting classes, hit them up. Or, as some people in the above threads have suggested in their own subtl way, hang out at a shooting range and ask the experienced guys how to correct this or that.
  23. Well, we got a reply from trails on the letter. Basically it said we are stupid and don't understand racing or track prep. One good thing came out of it, I will never go there again, so that is one less car in the staging lanes for everyone to wait for. If we race at all next year, it will be at pacemakers, or maybe the old IHRA div 3 route.

I had it done about 2 years ago. It is the best thing I ever have ever done to improve my quality of life. Here is the deal, you have to find the right laser for your problem. They aren't all the same, and no one is the right laser for every person. Go to the FDA's website and look at the different lasers and then get an evaluation to figure out your particular problems. You need a good pupil map to figure out how big your pupils are. If you know someone that gets halos at night it is because they didn't get a good match with the laser and their pupil size and the laser didn't burn in out to the edge of the pupil. I had mine done on the east side because he had the Baush and Laumb laser that was the best fit for me. A friend had his done in Cincy because they had a LADAR that was the best fit for him. My eyes are very dry now, but if I keep myself hydrated it doesn't bother me. It is if I go a long time without a good amount of water I notice it. My final vision correction is 20/15, it is pretty cool being able to see right away when I wake up.
