  2. salt and peppa, high heat. I like to put some cast iron in the oven at 500 or 550. Let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes like that. Take it out, put the steak in, put in the oven. Wait about 2 or 3 minutes, flip Wait 3 or 4 minutes take it out, put a pat or two of butter on it let it sit a minute eat or grill it, similarly but you need that grill to be HOT
  3. the downstream hose on the DPFE sensor is disconnected or clogged up. A common problem on these is the catalytic converter gets plugged up (causing driveability problems), and the excessive heat melts the hose and sometimes the DPFE sensor itself. This sensor is a small unit that slips onto two hoses and has an electrical connector. Very easy to replace. Remove it and inspect it for damage (melted housing or hose), and if no problem is noticed, replace it. I highly recommend a MOTORCRAFT part, as the aftermarkets are hit-or-miss on this part. If it is damaged, you'll want to replace the catalytic converters before replacing it, as the new one will get damaged as well. Good luck!
  4. CMH is one of the smallest airports in the US. International due to the turbo prop that flyies to toronto once a day. There are only 3 or 4 "busy" times per day at CMH, that's when there are 3 or 4 jets leaving. All airports have to allow general aviation.
  5. I actually think that keynote is way better than ppt, numbers is just as good as excel, the word processing program in open office is good enough, whatever you feel like paying for.
  6. I use open office, slide rocket, google docs. I am trying to hate on MS as much as possible.
  7. We have only ever had one problem, we had a contract for 18 months and at 12 months they told my wife her contract was up. She said that it will be up in November, they let her in and the manager greeter her as she was leaving to explain the mistake and that she had fixed the glitch.
  8. We have a membership at Urban Active. I walked in and said "I want to pay $14.99/mo with childcare included". They said no, so I said ok and got up. They said "well if you pay up front we will do it". If you remember it is your money, they will bend to whatever you need.
  9. My father-in-law lost the circulatory system to his kidneys and bowel. My grandfather had bone cancer and laid in a bed for 2 months, incoherent and mostly unresponsive. Both of these men died slowly, painfully, and with all of us watching. We knew the end would come. I do not want to be surrounded by family while I waste away with toxins circulating my body, I want them to say goodbye and remember me every now and then. I respect everyone's choice in how they want to go but I don't see the point in suffering forever. In his later years Jack taught us to read the constitution and pay attention to our rights. You have a right to do whatever it is you want to do, so long as you aren't bothering anyone.

    Verizon help?

I just transferred an upgrade from another line and upgraded my wife's phone.
  11. I put some malicious code on a web page, say on a forum that is allowing script tagging. Your browser executes the code and your computer pops up on my console I have running as a new target. I then copy your hard-drive to mine, or watch you log into your bank and capture the HTTP headers so I get your passwords, or what have you. if you want some good "hacking" tools, go to http://www.getmantra.com/tools/ or just download Backtrack.
  12. Most of the guys I work with are Blackhats in some way, if you piss me off I just have them work on it. They are bored most days.
  13. I work for a small Silicon Valley startup called Qualys. Hacking as a service.
  14. Yes, the ones that aren't good at it are easy to find. The good ones use open proxies to hide their identity.
  15. I took some at OSU. Books work pretty well. There is a training facility up by Polaris that does MS Office I think. They are good people, I hold classes there pretty often. I bet New Horizons does but I would avoid them like the plague. Babbage Simmel probably does as well.
  16. Saw them in Jax a few years back. Cinnamon Girl.
  17. I learned this in the military from my dog-tags. A+
  18. Relay, you have a bad relay in the system. You probably have a relay that is triggered off the key and it isn't pulling over.
  19. Thanks. I am also concerned with the bad things that happen out there. 350% increase in security incidents in the last year. Sony's pay service down for a month, seriously a freaking month!!!!? It is so easy to exploit systems now that I don't think you even need to understand the underlying technology. Attack and Defense Labs makes this great toy called Shell of the Future that should scare the crap out of everyone.
  20. I would never use IE, but you get the idea. You never want to have your bank website up, and any other website up on the same browser or a session hijack can occur. then you need to LOG OUT of your bank's site.
  21. Your money is safe-ish. I don't know about withdrawing it all, but you should avoid using your credit card at momNpop places. You should never, EVER use the same password for facebook as you do for your bank. Stop using tabbed browsing, in fact use more than one browser and use one for surfing and one for banking. host files for credit cards, etrade and banks log out for crying out loud, LOG OUT, don't just close the tab.
  22. Fuzzing is like Nascar, you only do it for the crashes. We have 11000+ signatures, no point in reinventing the wheel. Most of our R&D guys fuzz, write an exploit, publish to our KB, repeat. Seems kinda boring really.
  23. I know of him, read some of his stuff. I attend these little meetings like B-Sides and stuff at the HackerDojo with guys like Billy Rios or Ivan Ristic. I am teaching classes again at Black Hat this year but even Black Hat has become a CIO road-show like RSA.
