Damn!!! 70k in loans to pay off!!! Why isn't your wife a brain surgeon making $2million/year with that kind of schooling? May I ask what she went to school for and if she graduated? My wife rang up around $3000 in loans in one year, but yeah I can't imagine 70grand....wow.

Yeah I totally agree, my wife doesn't have a checkbook, an ATM card, or a credit card. Nothing but the cash I give her. She used to live paycheck to paycheck, well not even that because after about 10days she'd be broke again,and have no money for 3-4 days until she got paid again. That got old QUICK. Try a credit union...and your wife can't cosign? My wife has the same problem, so we put the loan in both our names, my name's just on the loan so she can get the best rate and her name is on there to build her credit. What about just selling the car? That'd free up cash and its not like getting another bill at the moment might be the best idea. And the part about the woman not paying the bills I completly know what your talking about...and that's why I handle all the bills from now on. it wasn't fun worrying about shit not getting done, and wasn't worth my trouble. What year was, cuz like I said in my post, not all GTP's were supercharged. Also, it really depends on the speed of the race as well. GTP's have little topend power stock and all lowend, but yeah anything is possible. And like Thorne said, throw a $100 pulley on there and it'd be a completly different story.

Maybe that's just me personally, but I can see me spending $17k-20k on a Cobra/Mach1 a lot easier that I could see me blowing $30k+ on a vette. Especially when it would not be my daily, and would only be race toy.

I chose Cobra because it was on your list, but really its a tough tossup between that and a Mach1. I choose either one of those cars because of price, *<$20k and power is awesome. Sure the Cobra is blown, but a Mach1 ain't no joke. Either would be fine with me. And I agree about the C6, for vette's its z06 or die. Which one do you want?
