  1. Chromebook's suck, I'm shocked that any IT person would recommend it as a viable alternative to a Mac or Windows PC for anything other than web browsing. With that being said, it really depends on what she's doing. I love my 2017 MacBook Pro, I also have a Samsung Ultrabook which has awesome battery life and a beautiful screen. At the end of the day, all the machines will work. Just get her what she wants. I've learned if you don't, you'll end up buying it down the road and it will be a battle because you didn't get her what she wanted in the first place.
  2. planning on driving there and back. It's an 8 hour drive... no biggie
  3. the price is one thing, but the idea of driving my car in the city just makes me want to slit my wrists. Also parking is insane in the city.
  4. that's right in my price range of what I was looking to spend. I'm thinking mid Oct so that the weather starts to cool off a little. so the Evelyn has gone up in price.... it's 3x + that price right now.
  5. So I used to travel to NYC all the time for work, but haven't in a few years since leaving L Brands. My wife has never been so I was thinking about getting us a trip to NYC just the two of us for a long weekend since tomorrow is her 40th birthday. Hotels are $$$ if you stay in the city and then adding parking it's just crazy. What I'm hoping to ask is, does anyone know of a hotel maybe in Jersey or somewhere that has free parking that's more reasonable that's close to the subway so we can ride into the city and save some cash.
  6. hysterical when she fell through the ceiling... she was hit in the face, but had a nice turd cutter in those shorts lol
  7. it's awesome... make sure to take the ATV tour through the jungle... they will lead you to a hole in the ground which feels sketchy. once you get down there it opens into this awesome water hole... hands down our favorite thing we've ever done.
  8. I had the Amish build my barn 40x50.... it was like 9-10k for the building then another 2.5k for the gravel and 7 inches of concrete. They did a good job, had the building up in 2 days and another for concrete. Yoder was the name of the place. They don't have a number per say, it's their driver and that seems to change fairly regularly.
  9. except hers is a 125 and I'm not sure I want to monkey around with yanking the head... any experience? is it a ton of work or pretty simple?
  10. nevermind, dealership figured it out... PN 3817880 I called the dealership, it's $1.50
  11. Anyone know what that piece is called? I found bushings but I don't think that's it... I was in an accident a few days ago because that piston shaft popped off my brake pedal, Insurance says that they won't fix the brake pedal because it caused the accident not happened because of so now I need to fix it before it goes to the body shop or risk them wrecking the car further... If you look at this diagram, it's the nub right under 24 that holds the piston that I need secured on. https://www.wholesalegmpartsonline.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_assembly=379536&ukey_product=2684685
  12. cleaned up the connections on the master cylinder and now the starter is working as expected... woot... issue one resolved... Now, it smokes like a 60 year old who smokes 2 packs a day.. I would like to think that it's just because it sat so long, but honestly, it smells like burnt oil which makes me think that there's valve seal issues... Anyone have any trucks to maybe help minimize all the smoking?
  13. If you're hoping for the old Stern, he's long gone, he's now too busy stroking all the Hollywood celebs and letting his staff come on and bitch about Trump. Every so often he gets in a good interview, but the antics that made him famous in the first place are long gone.
  14. ya, that's what I'm planning on trying to do..... Hopefully it's the brake safety switch and I can find it easily enough. These stupid Chinese bikes are a huge pain in the ass...
  15. battery is brand new and rocking and rolling, all fuses are good, no idea where in the world the kill switch is at or I would have already bashed it with a hammer... Good news, when I jumped the battery terminal to the starter, the bike started right up. It has a new carb on it so the carb is WAAAAAY out of adjustment. One thing at a time though, I read online where a common component on that brand to break is on the brake switch, so I need to trace down through the brakes and see if I find a double or single wire on it that I can either jump or ground out. Worst case, I'll drill a push button on the plastic of the ATV and make the jumper more permanent bypassing all that shit.
  16. no voltage at the starter... I picked up some 20amp wire on my way home from work tonight but it's been storming non stop since I got home so I might have to wait until tomorrow to go out back and try to jump the wire from the battery to the starter.
  17. So I picked up a "coolster" youth ATV from my neighbor and I can't get the damn thing to try to turn over. It has an alarm on it which I'm pretty sure is disabled.. some of the message forums talk about a brake lockout that goes bad on those but no one can give me specifics on how to bypass it... Anyone have experience or ideas on how to get this darn thing running?

    WTB: Truck

be careful of F-150's... I had a '99 with under 100k miles and it rusted from the inside out (talking radiator core support rusted through and I had to zip tie the radiator to the jack that was mounted in the engine bay.
  19. any suspension rattles? my wife has the vert model and I've replaced every suspension component I can find and it still rattles.
  20. my machines are still mining when I'm not using them so I'm making money that way... that's it.
  21. maybe update the title... not something I wanted to see period let alone on my work computer.
  22. I tried to sell without a realtor... it never sold, I ended up hiring a realtor and paid out the ass but had the house in contract in like a week...
  23. edit.... not in the mood to argue today
  24. I agree with you but I do keep my firearms locked up as well..
