  1. To make a story as short as possible, my wife, my daughters, and her mother went to a restaurant last month. The appetizer was bad, they asked for it to be removed from the order and all hell broke loose between them and the owner. The owner ended up striking my wife in the face with his elbow (he claimed it to be him pointing at the front door telling her to get out) He was all in her face, he told my daughter to, "shut the fuck up" and to, "waddle her fat ass out of the restaurant". My wife called the cops, he ended up taking pictures of her car and dancing in front of the door mocking her while they waited on the cops. The cops showed up, reviewed the footage, said there wasn't enough evidence to do much and "there is no law against being an asshole" but recommended that we post a review online explaining what happened. I get home and do so on google and on facebook where it was shared a bunch of times. Fast forward to today, I receive a certified letter in the mail from his lawyer with him threatening to sue me for loss of business and defamation saying we lied about everything saying that we accused him of not refunding the money for the appetizer (I never said he didn't refund the money just that it was started because of it) and that we accused him of bodily harm and cussing. He absolutely cussed out my daughter as well as hit my wife with his elbow. I never said he caused her harm but that he struck her in the face with his elbow and that he claimed to the police that he was pointing towards the door. What are my legal options and does anyone know of a good lawyer that isn't going to make me go bankrupt. Part of me says delete the posts and move on, but the other part says you can't allow this guy to keep bullying people and just because he has the funds for a lawyer that he should get away with it. What would you do? This guy has a wife and children of his own, he should know better than to treat people like that and I think his actions need to be made aware to the local community.

  7. hairspray on the build plate helps a TON for adhesion.. that and make sure your build plate is adjusted right. that's probably one of the most important things to do.
  8. I use Cura 3d for most things... that and check out thingaverse... odds are, they already have what you need and you just download and print.
  9. there's no soldering.. it'll take a few hours to put together, but it's pretty straight forward. The hardest part is making sure the Z axis is level so that it goes up and down without binding.
  10. nevermind, wife just said no.

  13. man, that would have been awesome Impala and all... Glad I didn't see this post until now or my wife would be even more pissed at me than usual. lol
  14. Ya he told me that tonight. Kind of a shame. I think he's also talking about closing his FB profile as well. He's had a lot of drama with women in his past but I've seen a lot of happiness with him lately with reconnecting with his kids so I'm thinking life is looking up for him. I wish him the best!
  15. either wrench in the garage, projects around the house, play with the kid, or take a nap... it really depends.
  16. Anyone have experience with the Miners like the S9? for the price point, they pay themselves off in 3-4 months then 500 bucks a month profit?

  18. hell if it was working, I'd want it for sure... problem is, it's not and I have enough projects.
  19. electric costs money no matter what's running at my house
  20. ok, several questions... first, I keep hearing the term free electric thrown around... What are you talking about? If you run a server and have it running high CPU / GPU all the time, it's going to draw more power. Also, there's some posts talking about hearing about the next big thing to invest in. How do you know or even hear about what it's for?
  21. I will talk to the wife but I should be able to help you out.
  22. it's a device that shoots the speed, engine speed, coolant temp, and liters per hours onto the windshield. This is a shitty picture because of the angle of the phone, but you get the idea.
