Of course I couldn't let the Camaro have all the fun. I will post some updated pictures as well as a video of the camaro running as soon as I get the Alt back on and the battery charged.

Welp, more toys came in over the weekend as well as the motor is done minus the alternator being bolted back up and the battery being charged. This should be an interesting year! Here's a picture of the Alternator that still needs bolted up. I was asking you what kind of motor.... not if you thought the vacuum lines controled the enviornmental controls... I didn't know that my V-8 was controlled that way and I had that problem as well as I saw it with another friend... I was just giving you an idea. If you don't wanna use it fine, but don't be a dick about it man. Had you or anyone else been in the engine bay recently when it stopped working? That might give an idea if something was bumped or forgotten, or if it is the control panel. Good lucky with fixing your problem.

it deffinately sounds like a vaccum leak... I had 2 vaccum lines backwards one time durring one of my many rebuilds and it did that... also, Crockostimpy in his old TA, either a vaccum line was left off or pinched and it did this.... you should double check your vaccum lines and make sure they are hooked up properly and don't have any kinks / clogs / broken.

it'll be a few more weeks... The engine will be started with'in a day or so... (the battery is dead so I have to charge it and give it an oil change before starting it up) I still have the rear that should be in tomorrow and the seats / Cage have to be fabbed in still... Don't worry, I'll scare the bejebus out of you once it's running graemlins/burnout02.gif

it's easier to put oil in with that neck on it... thus why I left it on

haha... we playing a beer on every hole? I think playing a scramble match would be a good idea... that way we all stay on course and done end up taking all day... It sounds like a blast! I played on saturday and besides getting sun burnt and sore from using muscles that I haven't used in a while, I had an absolute blast... Was it decided what the cost was going to be?

haha... who said that powdercoating the intake is all that I did? Thanks man... the ColumbusDSM mess wasn't about the club, I had one of the guys from there do the powdercoating... he didn't tape anything off and got sand inside of EVERYTHING... as well as it was chipping and peeling. He drove down and picked it up once and re-did it, but unfortunately, it chipped and peeled right off again as well as got more sand inside of the intake and the Alternator Bearings.. After that, he didn't return my emails that I sent to him. I am not trying to do any sort of bashing or anything.... The intake was an absolute mess and looked worse than the red that had bubbled from the abuse it took over the year. Mike got me all setup and it looks great now I think that the candy purple looked a little nicer than the blue though... only because I think the darker color contrasted more with the chrome.

Ya, I know the car... a buddy of mine worked on it... he has N2O installed but not hooked up just so he could purge it.... I wouldn't worry about him.... This could be a different car, but it sounds like the same one.
