sad i did not make it this year...kept thinking things would of come together quicker than they did. Had fun though and looking forward to making it out for sure next year.

I agree to a point you think for the money they collect for track rental they would spray it more. I know they have to pay the help and still keep a profit margin. But you know for the little amount of money I paid for the NTR rental Id have zero problems doubling that amount if the other 25 bucks went into having the track sprayed a minimum of 2 times and dragged. But even after emails Ive sent over the year, unless their is a collective hold out of people going to the track, Trails and the like will never feel the hurt. I also feel fortunate to even have tracks in operation... many places are seeing tracks closing down.

dude i would be all over it. But not in my 6k budget, everything needed too much work to be a decent driver, oh well keepin it german still i guess.

ahhh... yeah I know I have seen plenty 2.7tt motors on the table at byers doing turbos and what not. cool cars still...just want a fairly decent driver that I can repair in my garage.

M6 cars go for decent amount more. Im not hung up on a ws6, hell I can just put a ws6 hood on it and call it a day. If I can find a clean m6/a4 car for 6 id be happy, Im looking for 99+

either way its not horrible. Im sure its not sludged, just real nice to know its history, but with that mileage id best there is some history at dealer.

without pulling the valve cover and/or oil pan you would not know. Worked on the 1.8t at the dealer for its entire existance almost. For me to touch a used 1.8t id have to see some service records..thanks though

have all service records, those cars do have a track record for oil sludge problems.

yeah, it was a shady deal. I liked the looks of it but the rear end was noisy and suspension rode like a truck. but it was fairly clean and interior was nice.

Well I went to look at a "Nice" Trans am today, it turned out to be fairly beat mechanically but a nice looking car overall. I am really not 100% sure what I want but would be interested in a 99+ Fbody with LS engine. But also interested in an A4 or A6 Audi as well. I know drastic differences but it will be a car that I really use as my "Beater". I have the Nova as a fun car and the silverado to haul stuff and pull my trailer. So this is a car I dont mind taking to and from work and running errands in. Requirements: around 6k or less (looking to realistcally spend 5500) Lower mileage (120k or less but would like it closer to 100k or less) at least Semi fun to drive prefer to get an average of 20mpg or better heres the TA I looked at today http://www.drivenauto.com/details.cfm?searchvkid=1280238
