  1. Until they cash for clunkers them all again and our taxes pay for them to be scrapped.
  2. Charlotte was awesome. I lived there ~1999-2001 and didn't really want to leave but work/wife thought otherwise. One other place i'd consider moving back to is Spokane Washington. It was great out there too.
  3. Joans doesn’t frequent here no mo, he’s too good for us.
  4. SJ620, mines the older model no light. https://files.snowjoe.com/product-manuals/SJ620-SJ621MANUAL_ENG-MR4.pdf I’ve put it through shit it probably shouldn’t have been subjected to. If you know the limits of it, it does great. We had 24” of the thick heavy stuff and it didn’t like it but handled it fine as long as I wasn’t too aggressive. With the lighter stuff, it doesn’t even flinch at all. This is actually my 2nd one. First lasted a while until the wife used it and got a brick jammed into the paddles and burnt it up. I specifically searched for the same one again and lucked into a clearing house in canton that had one new in a water damaged box, been using it for years now.
  5. Billionaire gotta do billionaire things. I think he’s stepping ahead of something but not sure what.
  6. I rock a kobalt battery mower and trimmer now. The tech has advanced enough that I dumped my gas chainsaw and leaf blower for battery too. So far after 3 years they are still going strong.
  7. Throw out enough salt and it'll be gone anyway.
  8. I got a Snow Joe electric snow blower. Isn't a 2 stage gas beast but it's cleared over 100' of driveway at over 18" deep before. I'll never fuck with a gas one again. Sure wrestling with a long cord is a pain but to me that's less pain than trying to start a snow blower after it sits for years. This is what I do now, it'll melt soon enough that IDGAS.
  9. I’ll take this over the stupid heat and humidity any day.
  10. Been a while since we’ve seen serious lows.
  11. All while punishing those that can't afford the new tech.
  12. Run a couple lines of coke, drop some acid and try again?
  13. His nickname is "The Impaler"
  14. https://nypost.com/2021/02/01/elon-musk-grills-robinhood-ceo-vlad-tenev-over-gamestop-saga/ Elon Musk grills Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev over GameStop saga
  15. My 392 Challenger Scat Pack was like sitting in a lazy boy in front of the TV, but that 392 with the M6 was fun as fuck when you mashed the loud pedal.
  16. Mine are usually high to get you in the door, then they nickle and dime you down after they thing the deal is closed.
  17. I typically ignore both and look for comparable units for sale nearby. Doesn’t always pan out but neither does kbb or the like.
  18. You are getting too old. Buy a Corolla or Camry and be done with it.
  19. No lie, I had to work with one of our college co-op students the other day. I drove and he seriously asked why I kept shifting my automatic around and what’s the extra pedal for. He then told me he had never even seen a car with a manual transmission before.
  20. Ours were 2k7’ish +/- My boss has one now, he’s on his 2nd or 3rd transmission already. He bought it on my advice, but forgot I told him to dump it around 60k. They eat brakes too.
  21. Our leases ended at 75k because the transmissions never lasted past that. We’d turn them in and get a new one while the lease company would dump them off used on some poor soul.
  22. How many transmissions did the caravan eat @ that mileage? Our old work vans were caravans and like clockwork the trans would shit itself at 70-75k.
  23. It is tempting even to me but I don’t need a teeruck that bad.
