WTB: RC Car AM 75MHz TX/RX Crystal set I need a TX and RX crystal set to test out my Tamiya Hornet RC car. I'm in the middle of a restoration and this is the only piece left for me to find so obviously i'm looking for low cost until I find out how well this thing works!!!! I don't care what chennel so long as the TX and RX match, thanks!!

#3 was sitting on the floor. I got the wife a laptop and she decided she doesn't wanna bother woth a desktop anymore. System #2 is sold, it sold the Wed. before thanksgiving.

If you are interested in the hornet, shoot me a PM. It does work also, I've been testing everything out. Speed controller could use a good cleaning or replacement but it will run as is IMHO. (with a good battery of course)

Holy hijack batman! tongue.gif #2 has been ID'd!!!! From an email I recieved at Tamiyaclub.com, "modified AYK Pro Radiant" Makes sense since I found remnants of a pro radiant box in my stash!!! Now to find parts that will fit!!!

I got an email tip stating that car #2 is most likely a Race Prep - Pro Radiant. I guess it's a pretty rare car and would explain why I have about 15-20 Race prep motors in a box.

Got enough stuff to complete these cars? I'm interested... I was gonna go to the RC shop tomorrow and see what they had to offer.

I need help IDing some RC cars I inherited.... I received a LARGE amount of RC stuff from a neighbor and the boxes included three cars. Two of which I have no idea what they are and sadly, there are no radios. I also have received a LARGE quantity of spare parts and electric motors for many cars. In my quest to sort out what I may need and what I should keep, I need help Identifying these cars. Then I can sort through the boxes and get rid of parts that can't be used on these cars. What I primarily need is: A radio, electronics (servos) and battereis. I have a few 2 and 3 channel receivers, about 12 or so various electric motors and one speed controller. None of which look like they are in good shape. Car #1: This one is known, Tamiya Hornet http://cofba.org/users/gillbot/RCcar/100_0224.jpg My question is, do I need a special radio or will any work as long as I have the receiver for it? Car #3: Unknown http://cofba.org/users/gillbot/RCcar/100_0227.jpg http://cofba.org/users/gillbot/RCcar/100_0228.jpg This unit is also AWD via chain. I removed the chain and added the INCORRECT front wheels in an effort to make it a RWD car. It has three working wheels for the AWD system but I can't find a hub to mount the 4th. If any more info is needed, please ask. I can get more pics also. THANKS GUYS! Help me get RCing again, I haven't had a run around the neighborhood since my old Radio Shack Golden Arrow!

Doesn't matter. I plan on doing an aspire brake swap. I'd prefer festy wheels though since i don't plan on doing the aspire swap anytime soon.
