  1. I had a guy that builds a lot of arcade stuff with a CNC make one for me. I'll get his contact info hahaha yea thats only half of it http://i.imgur.com/s0KbHkT.jpg
  2. Yea he can make a lot of designs, I just gave him the CAD file Its super easy with a CNC, cutting it out with a jigsaw would take time but is doable.
  3. Most of you remember my retro game collection, I have also been interested in building a arcade of sorts. Decided on building a bartop arcade as they are smaller and since I have limited space in my apartment went with that. Had a CNC guy do all the cutting on 1/2" black melamine board and use a 2 player design. I saw there was a few people interested in building one so here is my design feel free to ask any questions as I have put a bit of time into it thus far. Each player will have 6 buttons that can be used for various games, the front end or arcade platform that I will use is Hyperspin. I can add tons of systems to it that can be played on this. It will house a mini-itx board, hard drives and power supply. The buttons I plan on using RGB programmable color buttons that can interface and only light up certain buttons for whatever game I am playing at the time. As of right now I have about 30 different systems ranging from Atari all the way though gamecube. Most can be played with the buttons but also can use a bluetooth controller such as a PS3 controller. Total hard drive space is 3TB but if i plan on adding PS1 and 2 games i will need a bigger drive. Still need to get a lot of the parts like a 23" monitor and buttons but its really not that expensive all together. The edges of the melamine will have T-molding to cover up and the marquee I will design and be backlighted like a real arcade Hyperspin front end http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/content.php Pics Glueing the pieces together http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w264/justinwebb24/IMG_0049_zpsf8cb1d72.jpg Finished drying- the control panel is removable for wiring and adding stuff http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w264/justinwebb24/IMG_0104_zpsc49d1cf5.jpg http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w264/justinwebb24/IMG_0103_zps7e4401ed.jpg http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w264/justinwebb24/IMG_0105_zps4b9d39d3.jpg The back just held in place, I will attach a hinge so I can access the PC components http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w264/justinwebb24/IMG_0108_zps34d92d6f.jpg

  8. If you are downloading/uploading while watching depending on the internet connection it can slow down the Roku speed from what I have noticed from ours. We use wifi and it works great, so maybe stops with the pr0n downloads...
  9. I saw where the storm has spawned like 62 tornadoes so far in IL and IN, but I agree with a warning means I am about to be sucked up and off to kansas.
  10. I use OBD Link MX for my car PC and it runs all PID's in real time so I can use it as digital gauges with no lag. Its the fastest one on the market but it was pricey.
  11. Selling a few things that I never use and found this which has only been used a few times and not a single scratch or dent. Its the hero 2 model which does 1080p and all that fun stuff. I have updated it to the latest firmware. Includes the following: Camera Housing 2 extended battery pacs extra housing backs for the extended batteries Suction cup mount Right angle mount 32GB SD card class 10 asking 170 OBO pics here in a bit once i remember my photobucket password lol
  12. Yep i saw that but it has to have a VESA mount on the back which is how i attach the monitor to the cabinet itself.
  13. do you have a model number by any chance? Its not a full size cabinet its just a bartop as I dont really have the space for a fullsize cab in my apartment. I would rather go CRT but with a lack of space a LCD will have to do.
  14. Works on my PC and phone
  15. The kid could have easily ran over countless people driving crazy like that through a campus. Saw lots of people out walking, school bus letting kids off and tons of traffic. He had the opportunity to kill or hurt a lot of people and sheer luck kept them all out of the way. Glad they killed him as he put others in danger just cause he was mad.
  16. Just read this is now cancelled
  17. We are stuck with Time warner sadly as the apartment we are in only deals with them, it took me a good half hour to cancel TV as they kept tranferring me and asking if I had a discounted rate for a few months would I keep cable. I kept telling them no i dont like you people cancel it before i throw this dvr through your window.
  18. We ditched everything but Internet as well, just use a roku and torrent sites lol. Have my pc hooked up by hdmi so I can stream movies on my NAS box.
  19. Looking to see if anyone has any spare 22 or 23 inch PC monitors before I go out and buy one, it has to be either of those sizes as I am building an arcade and its sized for that exact spec. Let me know

  24. How did you pay? If you paid with a credit card then you can tell them you will do a chargeback and it will hit them directly as it was not done correctly and not willing to work on a refund.
