Am I the only one disturbed by the fact that Diablo walks like a girl, is a little "hip-py" and has boobs? Ewww .....I still did him/her/it with ma 32lvl Barbarian. No lube style.

He's at home resting. Urgent care sent him home with anxiety meds after looking at him for an hour. He took the week off. I don't know if it was anxiety. Who knows. Talked to him on the phone last night, and as a friend I urged him to make an appointment with a specialist anyway, or at least his GM, but we'll see. He said he made one. His wife doesnt really sound the type to take charge and make him. So I worry he's going to talk (+WebMD) himself into the least scary diagnosis and then ignore it all. I am afraid he's going to ignore it until its too late. But on the other hand you cannot force anyone to do anything, except your own underage children. For other adults: You can lead a horse to water.... This episode, however, has prompted me to make an appointment with my GM to get a couple things checked that I've been doing the same thing about: ignoring them. All I can give as a take-away is "Pay attention to the signs".

Just wanted to post this here. Sitting here at work and my best senior developer, his cube is just outside my office, stands up and is really agitated confused and worried, and says he can't read half the words. Then as he's talking to Dan one of our tech's he says half Dan's face disappeared. We did a quick stroke test and rushed him off to urgent care (couldn't talk him into ambulance, he's counting every penny, things are tight for him). We're here waiting on news. But symptoms like that I can't imagine it not being serious. 34yrs young. Skinny. Powerful reminder - DO NOT TAKE LIFE FOR GRANTED.

Back to the OT: drop the dog, sue the owner. We've got a similar problem brewing next door. New boxer that is skittish, territorial, aggressive and scared. And barely trained. "Virtual Fence". Sooner or later the owner is going to have a problem with that dog. Either with a neighborhood dog or some person. And I've told them so. The owner will have a problem. I won't. Dog comes onto my property or threatens or comes after my family and I'll drop him on the spot. We can work out whatever later in the courts, I don't give a fuck. Owners that can't control their animals should be bitch-slapped. Its like having kids when you don't have a job. If you can't deal with what you're getting into don't get into it. My irritation is when some other fuck-up's issue becomes a concern for my family. Gun. Ready and loaded and to hand. Solved. Control your shit or I'll control it for you.

Mine was, so was this OTA. Annnd the ROM I downloaded that preserved root and debloat and deodexed. I may be a wierd duck but I like it just peachy. Last update has made it all speedy and fast n stuffs. (Course thats more to thank to the jrrocker developer than to htc's devs......)

Actually every time I look at that my butt clenches. Like on each iteration. .....Its a great glutte workout really.

UPDATE: I ended up not rolling back the ROM. Figured out that I had changed my DNS to something other than Google (which of course is blocked). so on the new ROM load of course these went back to 8.8.8.8. I just changed those to Open DNS addresses and voila! back in business.

Defnitely already wiped the dalvik. Can't get this running. Seems the ROM does work with tethering - at least according to other people. With this radio updte too. Oh well. Ok looks like i'm going to flash back to my previous. Anyone recommend a good reliable update blocker?

I don't want to use another ROM. Tried BAMF in the past, didn't like. This ROM working fine for me but after the update Tethering (tried both Open Garden and WIFI Tether 3.14) both act like it can't resolve a dns or something. The PC connects to the phone, and the tether apps don't force close or anything, but any request sent from the tethered PC just hangs before timing out. On the phone watching the tether dashboard its like no data comes down. The upload data totals tick up like normal. download = zip.

So I'm running a rooted Thunderbolt. Last week Verizon starts trying to infect me with their latest OTA. Hurray. No thanks Verizon, I'll keep my root on and your bloatware off. Go suck one. So I go searching and find the rooted version of the OTA here: http://androidforums.com/thunderbolt-all-things-root/467448-updated-5-20-12-rooted-ota-2-11-605-19-files.html I'm using the Rooted, deodexed, debloated version there. Flash went fine. All good. I'm up on 211.605.19 I also updated the radios (link at same place) so all is up to date. That update went fine. All works. But now--- Open Garden Tether doesn't serve anything up to my PC when tethered. It'll allow the connection from the PC, but nothing comes thru. Help! I needs me some tether (doesnt have to be Open Garden) --------- btw - I Titanium backup'd everything and nandroid backup to. I'd prefer not to rollback but I will if I have to. (Oh one last thing, I did rename my /etc/security/OTAcerts to otacerts.bak for a "just in case" protection that I don't need to have to continue to deal with this damn verizon OTA push attempt. got tired of waking up to the little android wtf! icon frozen on my phone when it tried ot ninja me during the night.)

Graphics are just a teeeeny bit too cartoony for me. They definitely went toward the WoW color pallette and art direction (neon effects everywhere, pastel colors galore) vs the Diablo look of yore. Beyond that - solid play mechanics. Well what I could enjoy of it after I got the wife's PC up, got it installed on my PC too, and before the servers went tits up.

Fucking diablo just cost me >$1300. ... wife's PC was below min specs and I didn't feel like sleeping on couch. Trip to store. Solved. Yeah I meant to buy her that new PC all along... :/
