My wife bought this one for doing craft markets/back yard parties. We both spent a month watching craigslist for a quality used canopy and finally gave up and spent the money. It's very well built and easy to set up.

Thanks for shooting those pictures Tim, love the grain and bokeh.
Here's my old site for the car with the original build story: http://web.archive.org/web/20071222110505/www.durocco.com/story+photos/page1.html
A hub tamer would save you a ton of time and headache. Even after you remove the spindle from the car it's going to be a pain to set it up in the press.
Rent/borrow/buy a hub tamer.
The whole 4 live, 1 blank round system doesn't really work because of recoil.
Having said that, the state killing a man on a is abhorrent no matter what the method.
Also, from teh big book of sexy/violent/incestuous fairy tales:
"Again, the 750il is like a merchant in search of V12, who, on finding 750il of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it."
– Matthew 13:45-46
Once upon a time there was a nice young man who desperately wanted a V12 powered vehicle, alas the man could not afford a Lamborghini or Ferrari and so he prayed to the flying spaghetti monster, the FSM emailed the young man a link to this very thread and there was much rejoicing.
Amen.
Found oem ford 1-2 and 2-3 acc pistons on ebay for $21 shipped.
If (when?) this transmission goes bang I'll look into swapping in a later unit.
I should be able to do all the work I listed in a few hours for under $100 including a switch to full synthetic Mobile1. Cheap maintenance > slightly more expensive and time consuming replacement.
