  1. Looking for a set of push/pull shifter cables for my vw project, the factory VW cables are too long for my application. I need cables which measure 30-36" between the mounting points. Length to the cable ends does not matter. Pic of an aftermarket push/pull cable: http://www.jegs.com/images/photos/500/555/555-15704.jpg

  5. Thanks for the heads up on the empty spots. I signed up for 10-11 and there's still room.
  6. Wolf's Auto Glass has done a few used windshield swaps for me: http://www.yellowbot.com/wolfs-auto-glass-columbus-oh.html
  7. *stab!* "hmmm... interesting, looks like you're one of the few people with a body temperature of under 97 degrees."
  8. The 10th-11th are already full, Friday the 9th still has room.

  10. - bent wheel - water in tire from sitting deflated - broken tire cords - worn suspension/steering parts - stuck caliper - angry driver
  11. On ebay, search for "binary target" I bought 10lbs of the stuff in bulk to save a little money, it's still vastly overpriced given that it's made of 90% ammonium nitrate and 10% aluminum powder. For future shooting I plan on finding a local supplier for the AN since it's pretty cheap.
  12. Video of a shooting weekend at a friends place in southern Kentucky, rolling snowmen has never been such fun.
  13. Welcome back Erik, frikkin scirocco weirdo.
  14. After the initial air bleed try shutting the bleed screw and just working the clutch pedal at the top of its travel. It may take a few hundred repetitions. This allows air trapped in the master cylinder to escape into the reservoir. Alternately park it on a grade or jack the nose up over night, this often has the same effect.
  15. I may have a set, I assume you want the projector style low beams?
  16. Next time I finish too quickly I'm going to blame toyota: "dear wife, I meant to keep it slow and stretch the sex out past ten minutes, another clear cut case of unintended acceleration"
  17. Dive in solo sir, go slow, group the little bits into disposable tuperware containers and the larger stuff into boxes. You'll do just fine. It's just large metal lego with a purpose.
  18. Using a dab of nail polish to mark the position of each pulley can save time looking for the factory timing marks, still a good idea to set the engine at tdc though.
  19. Alldata has the job listed at 5 hours, looks like a moderate pin in the ass. You have to pull the wiper transmission and rain tray but it's still tight quarters after doing that.
  20. Interesting ad for a: "2001 Honda Accord steak shaft - $5000 (Cleveland OH 44143)" http://columbus.craigslist.org/ctd/1586358135.html
