Some people just don't see the big picture or have the discipline to keep paying so they need to use the lowest balance method even though the higher interest will cost less money in the end. I'm a fan of no debt, but if an investment is earning more than the cost of the debt, that equation is in your favor. I'll borrow at 2-3% if I'm earning 8% any day (for a net earning of 5%). Think of that as like having a margin account.

Symptoms: low compression on 2 cylinders (good cylinder between them) have swapped head gasket and head. Same issue. Showing about 100 psi vs 160-170 on good cylinders. So did my basement.

I have a hitch setup that has load bars and a sway bar. They work great when pulling a full trailer of firewood. Easier to put them on before loading, but if you forget, when you set the load bars you can watch the back of the truck raise up. Don't forget to remove the sway bar when backing up.

After being involved in an accident where the other driver produced insurance proof on scene but didn't have actual insurance coverage, I'm going to always get the other driver cited if possible.
