  1. I have a heat pump and switch mine to propane around 30*. I can run in hybrid mode but that usually just kicks over to propane to quickly. Below 30, I use my wood stove and put a pot of water on top. It definitely makes it feel warmer in the house when there is water than when there is no water. (the wood stove is cheaper than the propane to heat below 30) Comparing the 2 setups: the heat pump has to be at 68*, but with the wood/propane it can be 64* and "feel" about the same.
  2. Option A is a great option. I know that Dell will fight to not send it, but you just have to keep on them. Tell them something like the disks were lost in a move or something.
  3. I agree with getting the record clean if at all possible. If ever caught for a second offense, the penalty will be much worse.
  4. I did the home study of the course. Read all of the chapters, took the home quiz and scheduled the "class". The instructor went though the material and kept saying "you'll need to know this, and this, and this" and then passed out the test. Completed in about 15 min.
  5. Perhaps it can help get it reduced/dropped. Talk to the prosecutor. And have him read the regulations.
  6. Did he have an apprentice hunting license? That may help your case.
  7. You could try to fight it and claim that you were not hunting at the time, but in reality, he was hunting illegally and lucky that all he got was a $100 fine. I suggest reading the hunting regulations every year. http://www.ohiodnr.com/wildlife/dow/regulations/hunting_deer.aspx
  8. I'm near Lithopolis (East of Slate Run) and the winds are now gusting more than during the tornado warning.
  9. I installed the Kwikset brand with Smartkey. I can rekey when ever I feel like it without changing the lock. Don't even have to take them apart. Something like this one, but I think mine have antibump and better security than this entry level set. http://www.amazon.com/Kwikset-Cylinder-Deadbolt-featuring-SmartKey/dp/B004EPYSH8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1383157002&sr=8-4&keywords=kwikset
  10. Thanks. They made it through a small crack between 2 bricks so I can't see where they are going. I got the outside hole sealed off, but keep seeing some inside the house.
  11. Who did you use? I'm in a war with some as well.

  15. Check the opposite side that you think the noise is coming from. May also be a wheel bearing. On my dad's truck I swore that the noise was on the drivers side, but it was the passenger side wheel bearing.
  16. Looks to me like they didn't set the brake on the trailer and truck as it rolled forward 2-3 feet.
  17. I think I read that after getting rid of the bees, take a dowel rod and glue it in the hole to keep other bees from taking over.
  18. It is probably from carpenter bees. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carpenter_Bee
