  1. and not for anything bad...sister is getting ready to have her kid, so ive been in the waiting room since about 1130...probably going to be here all night 1st nephew FTMFW!
  2. maybe i should see about doing some more in my place...my lower split is like 63-64 degrees when my thermo is set to 69 or 70 and buck - i met a guy you work with, said he does support at chase and knew you...cant remember his name but he's dating the accupuncturist (sp?) that my sister uses (Catherine Ho...lol) and we're all here at the hospital waiting around
  3. break walk in closet doors much tim?
  4. i love watching curling...unfortunately, i was at work today and missed it. its such and odd sport but i love watching it
  5. LJ is right. i know for sure with visa, any card that has that logo is protected up to a certain amount...i havent heard about mastercard, but i would assume its the same...i assume this because itd be stupid to not do it if their major competitor offers it. your bank can handle it dude.
  6. i worked today 930-7...didnt even realize it was a "holiday" until i took a payment from this woman and called her bank to verify funds on the check (large amount and im not going to fuck with NSFs)...ended up getting about $3300 towards my goal, which isnt bad for a single day. i sit next to the only window in the building, so i watched it snow all day. hope to do the same thing tomorrow
  7. if any of you guys are looking for anyone for some help (shoveling, etc) even for a couple days, let me know...friend of mine has been unemployed for a while and at this point i think he'd be willing to do just about anything to make a few bucks.
  8. damn...i had to think about that for a minute, and i lived in gahanna my whole life until i was 21. lol...its GPP now. plus, there was one in kmart before that place went down. but for some good pizza, as said, flyers for sure...i ate that a bunch when i lived literally across the street from it in blacklick...call, order, wait 10 minutes, walk over, be home in 10 minutes with a hot pizza... also, portofino's (we order from cleveland/oakland park location) is good...for the superbowl, we got a 30" 1/2 pep, 1/2 pep/mushroom/green pepper/sausage/onion and it was $31. it fed 13 people. and its actually good pie the other which is just down the road from me and pretty good is antolino's. you can get a large 1 topping for like $6.50 or so on monday night. and like i mentioned earlier, ange's is great
  9. Hanawalt in gahanna...its across from the bowling alley at johnstown and ridenour road.
  10. is this a beer im assuming? if so, ive heard theres a place that has a lot of different beers on indianola
  11. wow. thats awesome of you doc! wish i could have made it. sushi sounded good friday...i ended up wanting to go get some prime rib, went to hoggys ready to chow down, and all they had was medium cooked...gotta have the prime rib rare...i had to settle for a rueben.
  12. im not going out...after 4 years, its just kinda "blah" at this point...ill probably go to the store and get some stuff to make some homemade lasagna or something. for sure though, im not going to try to go out. we tried to go out last night with my dad for something to eat and mongolian bbq had a line out the door and smokey bones had like a 40 minute wait...we ended up just grabbing some city bbq and going to the house to watch a movie
  13. rules to live by right there id do easton, but like said, its more outdoors, so dress warm..i dont like polaris for the fact that because its indoors, it always seems packed and you have to wait for a break in people to pass the slow people
  14. i wanted to post this last night before it had already been said, but decided to just keep it to myself i was in this position less than a month ago...not even for a "toy" per se, but for a second car that i didnt need...wanted an e46, would only run me ~12-13k for what i was looking for, and after down payment and insurance, maybe $300-325/mo. easily affordable with me having at least $600 in disposable income a month, but after talking with people who are smarter with money than me, i realized not a good idea to finance a toy...doesnt matter if its a car, boat, bike, etc...pay cash.
  15. that dude needs to get the fuck away from sporting events where people go fast and have a risk of serious injury. he obviously carrys around some shit luck with him
  16. but im guessing if its an apartment, you're probably sharing at least one wall with a neighbor, right? that will help it some as well...a house has cold air coming at it from all sides. and my house is 25 years old, so im sure it could be much better insulated
  17. twins ususally fuck? im watching the wrong kind of porn.
  18. nice...i saw our gas bill today (which the g/f pays), and it was only like $67 for the month...surprised me since it was like 101 last month. this is for a 1400 sq/ft 3 level split. i didnt think it was too bad, especially with how cold its been
  19. may have been me...stop by and say hey next time. im usually in monday and thursday nights from about 730 to 9ish
  20. shiiiiiit. figures this happens since i cant get on CR at work to see this and i just now get home
  21. probably...mon or thurs night after 730?
  22. the cabinets i found wont be a custom made cabinet, but some ready-to-assemble ones i found online...hence why theyre so inexpensive...but i can order those well ahead of time, and assemble them and leave them in the garage. chad - i actually looked into those heated floors for my bathroom, but ended up not doing it...in the basement i wish i did. ill walk up both flights of stairs to piss just so i dont have to stand on the cold floor...any idea what kind of electricy bill one of those would run up having it running enough to keep the floor not cold? i have a feeling it wouldnt be cheap...but then again, it'd be a winter only thing. i do want to have the majority of the stuff i'll need ready to go before we get started so theres not constant trips to the store. if i end up doing tile, i'll have that, thinset, grout, etc, have the cabinets assembled, and all that other good stuff before we start, as to try to keep the wasted time to a minimum
  23. holy shit. lol. i wish i had the know how to do all this so i could bust ass like that
  24. unfortunately, i dont have a basement...its the same layout as my g/fs parents neighbor, except where my closet is under my steps, his goes down into a basement (i have a 3 level split, his is 4)...my main level is slab, i just dont know if/what is between the concrete slab and the floor thats down now...no more laminate wood though...thats what i have and i hate it...its ok in my front living room, but i dont want it in the kitchen the playsand would be baller though...old school style.
