  1. Since ~39k/summer 2012. And no, 120k service wasn't done.
  2. http://imgur.com/a/irtTGCr 2009 Legacy 149k miles The good (that I can remember) - CV shafts Aug 2018 Rack and pinion and outer tie rod ends April 2019 Milestar MS932 tires Feb 2019 Spark plugs and wires Nov 2019 HID headlights March 2019 Battery July 2017 Hella red horns All weather mats Clean interior. Never smoked Harmon Kardon speakers with subwoofer. The bad - Few door dings (it's an 11 year old car) and a dent on the roof pillar from running my bike on the roof rack into the garage. Clearcoat on door handles recently started to peel TPMS doesn't work. Light stays on. Never bothered to fix it because I know how to use a pressure guage. Head gaskets leaking. They have been like this for over a year but I just check the oil every few weeks and add some to keep it at correct level. I drove the car to MD last summer (4 hours each way) and had no issues. Recent P0028 code. Says its for intake valve control solenoid. Autozone says can be due to low or dirty oil. Got it changed 5/8 and its still there. Sensor is ~$40. Couple small windshield chips. Tint on drivers door has some scratches from window motor over 8 years. 35% tint all around. Full disclousre, I hit a deer a couple weeks ago with it, but she was laying on the ground so I really just went over her. There is probably still hair and blood on the underside, but the bumpers have no damage (these pics are from today). Roof rack not included If I think of anything else, I'll update here. $2800 Evan - 614-374-7741
  3. Because he refused to correct it when I called him to discuss the issue. It' been 3 weeks today on a "3-5 day" project and I needed the part back so I can go elsewhere to get their fuck up fixed, so I went and paid to get it back and I'll work on getting my money back for services not received at a later time. Edit - image of clearcoat over protective tape - https://imgur.com/a/GNnihtj
  4. No. A) it's carbon and b) i want it to look how it does. It's just gonna need the clear tape removed and probably have the clear sanded down and recleared.
  5. Long story short, I had a rock chip on my bike (bicycle, not moto) that was pissing me off because it was black sticking through red paint. Knowing Achbach gets a lot of praise, I took the part there to get the rock chip fixed and repainted. First I was told 3-5 days. 2 weeks later I call and they tell me it's not done. Wednesday (19 days later) I get the call that it's done, go in, and see that they cleared over a piece of protective tape that I had put on another section to protect from rock chips. Get told that everyone was out to lunch and she'd have someone call me. 2 days, nothing, call today, talk to Dan, and he gives me an excuse that no one thought to remove it, they thought it was a decal, and it can't come out now. So i have a piece of 3m tape that should be removable in case I need to replace it later with a fresh piece, sealed in by clearcoat. No offer from the shop to fix this. I'm quite irritated as I'd probably live with the rock chip if it meant not having a piece of protective tape locked in with clearcoat. 😡
  6. I only get my knives from River's Edge and they sharpen all of my blades. Steel and ceramics. Steel is like $3‐5 depending on size, ceramics are a few bucks more. If you buy knives there, free sharpening for life.
  7. Something close to what I have at the office would be awesome. I don't need anything crazy big, just something to be able to deal with two apps at once...one on my laptop monitor and one on a bigger screen.
  8. Anyone have something not being used anymore? I got sent to work from home with my work laptop, but I'm used to having 2x 21.5" monitors at my office. Someone loaned me an old TV but the text on the screen is terrible and it's killing my eyes. No adjustments to the picture are helping. Work doesn't want to give me a monitor since I have a laptop, so I'm on my own. The cheaper the better as I don't want to spend a lot for something that'll only be a temporary thing.
  9. Just did mine with Marc at 3.50%. Score.
  10. There used to be a house on Stelzer Rd somewhere between Johnstown Rd and Easton that always had a ton of motors sitting out on stands. Like 20 motors. I assume the guy reconditioned and resold them. Drive down there and look if he is still there. It'll be on the east side of Stelzer rd. Probaby close to Agler Rd if my memory is right.
  11. Holy fuck. I never thought of that. You're a genius. Someone should pay you a lot of money for your unique ideas.
  12. Yeah I know I could do that too, but I'd like to get something i can wear out there and not care if something happens to it.
  13. Anyone have any old hunting clothes they want to part with? I haven't been in probably 15 years, and got invited to go shoot doves with some friends...went out to the garage to my box of stuff and found out that mice have gotten into it over the last 10 years it's been out there, and destroyed almost everything. I had a nice 4 in 1 parka that I recall being about $300 when I worked at Gander in 2003, and that was with my discount..shredded the liner jacket. Probably 80% of my shit is chewed up and shifted on.😯 Even if the mice didn't get to it, this shit is all too big for me because I was so fat in HS. Really just looking for maybe a set of camo uninsulated coveralls. Probably a size large so I can wear something underneath them. I'm 5'11 and about 165lbs, 31-32" waist, 40" chest, if that gives some reference. Bonus points if you live near Easton and I can stop by tomorrow evening as I was hoping to go out with them Thursday and maybe again this weekend.
  14. FWIW, we had a place booked in St. Thomas thru AirBNB a couple years ago. Flying out Thursday early AM and we woke up Wednesday for work to an email saying our reservation was cancelled. Somehow managed to book a place near where we like staying on the island about 30 min later (got super lucky they even answered the phone at like 6am since they don't even open til 8 or 9 from what I recall). Flights to the island then were about $1300 round trip for 2 people, the place was around $1600 for I think 6 days. It's called Paradise Cove. it was a 1br condo, so kitchen, living room, etc. It wasn't super nice but it wasn't bad either...didn't care since we were barely there. Walk down the hill to the beach at Secret Harbour which is amazing. it's in a cove so very little waves, crystal clear water (chest deep and see your feet no problem), great snorkeling, close to Red Hook to take the ferry to St. John ($7 each way). If you have some extra coin to drop, stay at Secret Harbour resorts. No walking up/down the hill to get to the beach and they seem a little nicer.
  15. he should file a claim with his insurance and let them go after Ohio Mulch. that's what they're there for.
  16. Bikeflights.com I've shipped an entire bicycle for $100 to CA (little more with $3k in insurance). A bike frameset was like $30 a couple weeks ago. Pack it up, get the dimensions and weight and pop the numbers into their website. Rates are hard to beat. Edit - didn't see Brandon already mentioned em.
  17. Burning that much paper is not a good idea. Even when I do just a little bit, shit floats away still lit. 5 bankers boxes would take so long and be such a mess
  18. What are the biggest tires that Fuji will handle? And is that a short cage? Whats that cassette range? 5700 10s?
  19. ha. I guess those last 2 would have been nice to include. No rust. AT, 139k.
  20. I have a 2009 Legacy that I think I'm about done with. I've dropped some cash on it recently and I'm just done chasing issues. I had leaky CV boots, fixed those. Then it needed tires, replaced those. Then I fixed the leaking rack. now it's leaking oil, and my buddy said it looks to be the head gaskets. Being that this is a ~10 hour labor job, he said he'd rather just swap a whole new motor...either way I'm looking at a minimum of $1500, and I think at that point, I'd rather just buy a new car. I still drive the car daily, so it's not like it's dead in the water. I just check the oil level every 1k miles or so and add 1/2qt or so. Body has some dents/dings, nothing major. TPMS light is on. new tires, new rack, new front brakes in the last 6-9 months I believe. What say you on the value of this thing? Debating on selling it or just leaving it in the driveway for winter time.
  21. Cycling. Winter, indoors usually 4-6 hours/week. Once it's nicer out, usually 3-4 days/week, anywhere from 2 to 5 hours per ride. I always hated running (not that I tried often) and since breaking my femur a few years ago, even a light jog chasing nieces and nephews looks and feels awkward. Cycling is low impact and gets my heart pumping. I'm usually burning between 450-630 calories per hour. I mostly eat what I want, I've just learned that I don't need to eat until my stomach hurts. I used to use online estimators saying for my average speed, I was burning 1000 calories/hr. Since getting a power meter that shows actual work done, my max hourly burn on my hardest rides is low 600s. I just eat less on non-ride days and indulge a little more if I plan on riding that evening or the next morning.
  22. Who can point me towards a shop that does AC work and will stand behind it? I've taken it to a friends shop a couple times, had it recharged, then found a leak at a seal or an o-ring, that was fixed and the whole system refilled/recharged again. Nothing against him/his shop, I just think it's time to go to someone that specializes in this. It was done last summer and worked fairly well for the rest of the season, but now this spring it's back to blasting hot air, and I'm not wanting to deal with it all year I'd like a shop that can diagnose the problem and stand behind their fix that if come late summer or next spring it's not blowing cold air again, I'm not gonna be out a bunch of $ again. Car is a 2009 Legacy.
  23. Guy I knew years ago detailed cars for a Porsche Audi Land Rover dealership up in Detroit, and he turned me on to that. Awesome stuff.
