When you suggest a brand as a whole when im speaking of a specific gun and style (single stack, striker fired), and that brand doesnt even have something comparable, it is straight kool-aid drinking. now, if i had said "gonna buy a M&P 40c" and he said "why not a g27", thatd be different. its a direct comparison.

ugh...i post about this on FB for a couple friends, and i get another one says "$500????? why wouldn't you get a glock?" god damn kool-aid drinkers. so annoying...it'd be different if there was a comparable gun, but glock doesnt even make a single stack 9mm. thats like saying, "im gonna buy a new mustang" and getting a response of "why dont you buy a toyota landcruiser?"

i just need to find out if Ronnie Bianco is still around doing 'smith work. he got my 9c down to like 4.25-4.5#. if i can get it down to that, and a nice IWB, it'll be ideal. im getting one. my buddies wife works at vances, i've already sent her a message to see what they're selling for when she goes in tomorrow (hopefully).

aka "The Zimmerman Special" kidding aside, PF9, i've had it for a couple years. once i saw the S&W 9 shield, I've gotta have it. PF9, pocket holster, and i'll throw in enough Winchester SXT (or maybe they're hyrdrashocks, i'd have to check) hollow points to fill the magazine and chamber (7+1). also, an extra assembly pin. (had my gun disassembled in my car, pin was in my change jar, fuckers stole my change jar, keltec sent me 2 replacement pins) $250 OBO. I'm near easton and work in westerville. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC02768.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC02781.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC02784.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC02763.jpg
  8. I heard it at work just before leaving for the day at 6, so 545-555ish. Westerville near state and schrock. I have no windows in the office, so we thought maybe a quick storm was rolling through

Would look good alongside my m&p 9c. Do want. Once i get definitive pricing, will be listing keltec for sale
  10. AFAIK, i believe its blocks and studded walls/pink insulation and then drywall.
  11. Is this needed 100%? Its a half basement. Hopefully soon ill be replacing carpet from the shit that was there when i bought the house. Ive noticed when pulling carpet to tuck wires that some of the tackboards are rotten. I can only assume its from moisture seeping thru. Are there good sealers, or other alternatives to look into? Ive got about 300 sq/ft to do
  12. Finally someone follows the post pics of your gf rule. Looking good. And the cake.
  13. Depends...some you pay a fee to ride in, some you have to raise funds or commit to raising "x" dollars, some you just find a bike club to ride a route with. Many options out there. Ross, awesome of you to offer. I never have issues until i get on long rides. The flat saturday was a fine example. Luckily i carry most stuff i can swap out in my bag.
  14. 15lbs is almost what my bike weighs. i noticed a huge difference going from a 21-22# bike to a 16-17#. Part of it too is i gotta get into day after day long distance rides. Gonna try to do the 2 day 180mi on pelotonia, but itll depend how hard i can train this year
  15. We plan on doing grove city to cincy via that trail this year, but catching a ride home...f hauling along stuff for an overnight stay.
  16. I like piada. pasta bowl with chicken and steak, diavolo sauce, and a shitload of cheese and veggies ftw.
  17. i'm gonna ride saturday...we're doing a group ride for work, with a bunch of people who haven't really ridden much this year, but plan to do pelotonia. i'm gonna ride to the start point, about 9 miles, do the 18 mile ride, maybe another 10 or more after that, then back home. hope to get 45-55 in saturday. supposed to be nice out. dont know about sunday yet.
  18. couple rides from last week. this was just an after work casual ride with a buddy, 16 mile route around gahanna, nothing fast, like a 14 average, if that. http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/80546171 then saturday, i got with some guys i had never ridden with before...showed up, first guy and his g/f start busting out with some higher end bikes full dura-ace, etc, and then more people start showing up, same thing. im thinking "shit, i hope i didnt bite off more than i can chew". talked to the guy organizing it, he said just to keep on someones wheel, catch the slipstream, and i'd be ok....scheduled for 50-55 miles, and he's talking an 18-20mph pace (quicker than i usually ride, especially for that distance) first 27 or so, everything good. was doing better than i thought i would be. we stop for a minute to re-route as the road was shitty, get back to riding, right away hit a horrible rough road for about a mile. turn onto another road, and a couple miles later, i get a flat. awesome. of course as im pulling up the rear, no one heard me to know i had a flat. pull over, start to pull the tire off, and the lead guy comes back. i get it back together, and tire isn't seating correctly, right at the valve. brand new tube, junk. another couple guys come back, luckily one had a spare tube i could use and a new co2 cartridge. time down is about 10 minutes. i start riding again, and im DEAD. the break from riding to stopping to riding killed. couldnt keep with the group, finally i just said fuck it, i can get back...still tried to push myself, but wasn't able to keep more than about 17mph. one of the guys ended up dropping back and riding the last 6 or so miles with me, i told him he could go ahead, but he stuck back it was probably the hardest ride i've done in 3 years of riding. 51.74mi, when i checked my cyclometer, my actual ride time was 2:51:16, which comes up to a moving average of like 18.15. i'm super happy with that, especially since that includes slowing for intersections, turns, and of course my ass limping back the last 10 miles or so. i think i'll keep working and wait a while before trying to ride with those guys (and girl) again. or at least wait until they plan to do just a bit slower pace. i'm just not up to their level yet. as hard as it was though, it was a great ride. it was awesome riding in a group with 8 other people. got some useful tips from some of the guys who have been at it for a while. http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/81590695
