if you're just gonna do it casually, an 870 can't be beat. i have one, and im probably gonna have another soon. just get the proper choke tube and you'll be fine. now, if you want to do it more seriously, you might want to look into an o/u, but if not, that'll do.

Serious Question: Credit type people inside please

Its a judgement call...settled never looks as good as paid in full. If youre gonna save a few hundred bucks, just pay in full. If youre saving many thousands, id probably settle...BUT, be aware, settling a debt and saving over $600, that gets reported to the IRS as "earned income", you will get a 1099 at the end of the year, and you will have to pay taxes on that income.. -

Have your accounts already gone to a collection agency or are you still making payments with the dr/hospital that they agreed to take shortly after the bill was made? And have you actually pulled your credit report to see whats on it? Stuff on a credit report goes 7 years from the date of last activity...ie, if you open a cc in 2004, use it and pay it off amd close it in 2007, itll stay til 2014 -
Lol. Like people who say they dont photograph well and its like "hey, heres a direct representation of what i looked like last night in the form of a photo...but i looked good, its the cameras fault"

NO. An "r9" is a revolving line of credit chargeoff, ie, a credit card, which means they reported it as a loss. Medical bills ARE NOT a revolving line of credit. You can settle them pre-chargeoff and it wont report as a chargeoff -
so, some good news came today. after looking online, i read a bunch about contacting my auto insurance company about any coverage i may have. to my amazement, they actually cover my medical up to like $5k and if there's any damage to her car, that as well...bit of relief for sure. also, i went to bicycle one today to see about ordering a replacement derailleur hanger, and a wheelset. turned out that a guy from the B1 in pickerington had ordered a set of Mavic Open Pros with 105 hubs, but decided to go a different route, and had a set at the shop ready to go. I ended up getting the set for $250+ tax, and they swapped over the rear cassette. fair enough, i feel. Got the tires on the wheels and onto the bike. after searching all around town with no luck on a new rear hanger, i got it up to bike source before they closed and they bent it back into place, but i'll be ordering a new one soon to be safe. gonna try to get out and ride tomorrow. hopefully the weather holds out.

the bike looks to still be straight. it did bend the rear deraileur hanger (found out tonight when i slapped my rear wheel from my old bike on). new hanger is $22, gonna see if the LBS has one in stock, if not, i'll order online. otherwise, a small scratch on top tube, and a couple on the shifter was it. But yeah, im gonna salvage the tire/tube/cassette/skewer What do you guys think of Mavic Open Pro's as a budget friendly replacement wheelset? Im gonna replace both as i know my OCD will kick in if i have 2 different wheels, not to mention, the Open Pros have an ultegra hub. i need to get something though and get it back together.

"work out at"...not "work at" :lolguy:

Yeah, but if they cited the driver, her insurance would be covering it...since they cited me, i gotta cover it. Thats a chunk out of pocket
-
yeah, no shit, right. lol. and yeah, it was my wrist...i guess this'll max out my out of pocket i'm gonna have to cover, so anything else that happens this year will be covered 100%. :lolguy: . really though, had she signaled, it all could have been avoided. im pretty pissed they cited me and not her for failure to signal. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/s720x720/417324_10150722817589919_606724918_11212286_1481966216_n.jpg

No, they cited me claiming i was "overtaking on the right", even though i was pacing traffic that was going thru the light i was about at the cars rear bumper on the right when the intersection came up, he/she didnt signal and started to make the turn, i couldnt get off the drop bars and onto the brakes quick enough when i realized the car was about to turn, and they pretty much side swiped me and i landed in front of his/her car. Landed on my hip/ass which hurts like hell, smacked my head on the ground...amen for a helmet, even if it was a cheap $50 one, it did its job...otherwise as hard as i remember hitting it, it might be a different story right now...i'll defintely be fighting it though. I was as far right as possible where i belong, had he/she signaled a turn, i would have yielded and let them make the turn then went on. I havent seen my bike, cop said the rear wheel was trashed, and my moms boss who lives near by picked up the bike, claims the frame/front wheel is fine, but i doubt it...pisses me off as that bike was barely a month old. Got transported to riverside, as st anns was full, got xras, cat scans, they think i have a concussion, bruised ass/hip/whatever, small bit of road rash on my shin. Not as bad as im sure it could have been, and definitely not like the movies..

suicide sucks. i've had an uncle and a cousin (different sides of family) do it. uncle hung himself at my cousins house, skipped going out with them saying he was going to go to an AA meeting...when they got home, my cousins daughter, maybe 8-10 at the time was first through the door to find him. my cousin was missing for about a month about 4-5 years ago, they ended up finding him, shot himself in the woods...his story was all over Nancy Grace for a couple weeks. seems like im missing someone else important i knew that killed themself, but sadly its not coming to me...maybe it was just those two.
