If the problem is the high prices for union wages, health care, and retirement, then instead of begging for a bailout they need to go to the union leaders and use them the way they're supposed to be used. "Hey, take a pay cut or we go under and you don't have a job anyways." I think they'll eventually listen.
I guarantee they won't get a bailout, because if that many people lose jobs and even more lose retirment...liberals win, now they have millions that want welfare, unempoyment, nationalized retirment and health care. They're using the conservatives desire for a free market against them, to gain support.
