  1. I don't think its that far over the top. My underhood temps are pretty high with the LS1 and I no longer have the top mount intercooler so that seems like a waste. This should help with cooling.
  2. Is there an appeals process or is this it?
  3. Man I towed my 18ft Searay with my V6 f150 and it HATED it. I can't imagine with a CRV. That said, if you are going to be towing with a lighter vehicle do yourself a favor and make sure the trailer has brakes. Second, I'd get a manual trans, no ifs and or buts. I just don't trust auto trannies for anything especially not in a 'high load' situation.
  4. Pretty sure its just a removable rain guard.
  5. They are 'fresh cut' with the potato skin on them. And they use large grain sea-salt. Pretty darn good.
  6. So I was just online, patiently waiting for a GT300 hood (cabonfiber) auction to finish. I told myself I'd bid a MAX of $205.01 ($160 shipping, and i really DON'T need the hood). I entered my bid with under a minute left and some guy outbid me at $215. With 11 second left I hit $240 and my winning bid was $222 So all said and done, i got a carbonfiber hood for $15 more than I was wanting to spend, not a huge deal. but have any of you gotten carried away with bidding. Almost taking it like a game, 'like hell i'm going to let that guy get it!" This hood is hawt, I hope it fits good. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130465933307&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_5909wt_939
  7. Nice trailer. How many miles on the truck (nevermind, my 04 has 145k should last me for a loooong time)? I heard the bully dog does a lot to help with fuel economy. Just yesterday I pulled the resonator out of the intake tube maybe i'll get something out of it?) and the muffler delete, hopefully will get me another 1-2mpg.
  8. If you go with the Cummins just put a pressure light on the supply to the injection pump. That will tell you if the lift pump goes out, thats really the main thing for reliability. Good luck on your search. I started looking for a rig in the 5-7k range and ended up justifying an 03-04 because the cab is a true quad cab and high pressure common rail fuel system.
  9. so much want. Nice car, bump.
  10. so are the tires separate or on the wheels?
  11. Whats the details on the wreck? is there another thread i'm missing? Pics?
  12. What kind of fuel economy do these n/a's get?
  13. win, just got new ARP wheel studs for the RX, free shipping. thanks for the heads up.
  14. Everything is easy sitting on your couch doing intarwebz research. Dropping the motor in and bolting it in chassis took me 4 hours. The rest of the time was getting it to work and interface. In my case the mounting kit was $350 and the driveshaft is an all aluminum driveshaft out of a corvette which was ~$100 (driveshaft was cheap but had to change the slip yoke and diff flange).
  15. What he said. LS1 swapped FD's are going for that and more (I've seen $30+). I spend $7k on my 'budget' swap. Thats not including the car, suspension, wheels, etc. Couldn't even tell you how many hours I have into it, two months of working every afternoon and weekend.

budget? My Honda is full of win as a reliable daily driver that is economical.
  17. Start in 2nd gear when unloaded, lord knows you have plenty of torque. Even when just towing my car I usually start in second gear, no problem.
  18. Because this is columbusracing not columbusletsgetby.
  19. Yay. Whats your price range?
  20. I just did some research. Went to a local audio place and they had a 'code alarm' base remote start for $250 installed. Then went and saw that best buy has an avital 4111L, which is very basic. Best buy has it listed for $140 installed, but there is a catch, that is a basic install. If you look at the reviews (and I called) if your car has a chipped key, It will be $75 to $125 extra. I am shopping for my GF's car. I decided to just do it myself and be $70 into it. Remote Start $35 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280598599072&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_851wt_905 Bypass Module $26 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140484777729&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
