Red (off highway) fuel and pump fuel right now are essentially the same. The only difference is the red fuel has a dye in it because no tax is charged on it. The dye will help law enforcement see if you are running in for on-highway. When ULSD (15ppm sulfur) first came out in 2007 some people ran red fuel because off-highway had not yet made the conversion to the 15ppm sulfur. the reason that people wanted to run it at that time was because the red fuel was still 500ppm sulfur. The sulfur is not the 'desiriable' part of the fuel. The problem is that the process to make 15ppm sulfur fuel takes out a lot of the lubricating properties of the fuel. However, nowadays pump fuel includes additive packages to include lubricity. However, some people still don't trust the additive packages and claim that some of the 03-06 injector problems can be attributed to them not being intended to be run on ULSD. So some guys run a bit of two stroke with their fuel to add some lubricity back in. There are also 'official' on the shelf additives you can buy too. Running 500ppm sulfur fuel on a truck with DPF will eventually ruin it. Anyway, if you need to chat let me know. Good luck with the powerjoke

Do a search on LS1 tech surrounding 'Mike Norris Catch Cans' MOST catch cans out there are just hollow cans with fittings on them, which work to a certain degree. However, there are 2 catch cans that I know of that actually have a 'spongy media' inside that work to slow down the blowby gases and also provide more surface area for the oil droplets to condense. The Mike Norris catch can is ~$100. I forget what the other brand is, but its some japanese company (if you read the threads on ls1 tech you'll find the other name.). I still have mine hooked up inline with a vacuum reference to the manifold to make sure that the vacuum system pulls all the vapor and junk out of my crankcase. For an N/A motor if you don't have vacuum to pull crankcase gasses you will foul your oil pretty quickly. However, with a boosted motor you might get away with not having to pull vacuum. I think that you are thinking of the 02 5.9 (cummins)Quad cab. He is talking about the 02 5.9 gasser (probably 1500, which wasn't specified) which is the new body style. since the gassers went to the new body style a year early. Keep in mind that the 02 HD trucks were the old body style which did have a crappy back seat. With that said, my stance is pretty clear on all trucks 4x4. I am not a fan of them. A lot more components to brake, seals to wear out, driveshaft components with vibrations to trace. I'll stick to 2x4 for the 3 times a year it snows. MOST people claim they want 4x4 in trucks and the only off roading they do is park in the grass at the county fair.

Where the wheels you had on your car aftermarket? What car were they on. Something most people don't know is that the lug holes in honda wheels have a 'round surface to sit in, while other cars have flat surfaces. Here is my best description of wheel lug profiles - Honda - U (with a hole at the bottom of the U for the stud to go through - Others - \ / I wonder if given the shadiness factor if the police could investigate the one wheel having different lug seats than the other. Also, the curious fact that the one wheel you have has the same tire size and brand as the one on their car.

Not new but its an 04 (no EGR, Common Rail, No aftertreatment, full of win) with the NV5600 6 speed trans. Its a bit clunkier than the G65 trans but it cruises at a lower RPM on the hwy and takes a bit more abuse. I LOVE this truck but I don't daily drive it (i'm too cheap). Just got back home tonight from a trip to black mountain with 4 ATVs, 4 ppl, and all the gear on a tri-axle trailer. Couldn't even tell it was there. 15 mpg @ 70mph I <3 maual trans though. OK so I have never bought tickets for an OSU game without going through an official venue. So I am looking at getting them on Craigslist...but it gets complicated because I am not in town to pick them up. Is there any way to verify if tickets are legit?
