    Big Ten Tourney

Dang thats not too shabby, I might have to get a ticket.
  2. How do you get the game onto the HD? I've never done this before. Always use the CD.
  3. I guess unless I've never known a bug deflector to be 'the best thing I've done to my truck evar !!!!1!!one!!' Unless I am missing out on some obscure use for it, not sure how it fits the bill of 'best thing on my truck'.
  4. This. I have a roll up and its way better than the snaps or the fold up ones. All you do is unroll it, and latch it at the end (the mechanism basically stretches itself, adjustable tensioners) and then you run your hands down the side over the velcro, done. Open bed to sealed in less than 30 seconds. I have the LUND brand cover linked here (this website is pretty awesome too, they will price match anything), oh yeah bonus is the lifetime warranty. http://www.truckaddons.com/Catalog/subpages/Lund_genesis_rollup_cover.htm Do yourself a favor and don't get a plastic liner. It will just get crap built up under neath it...wear off the paint at the contact points and start rusting. Full of fail. They have great floor mats and stepbars and whatever you want. Depending on the truck, the 03 and up Ram Factory bars are stainless I believe. They also price matched me a $200 brake controller at $100. I believe its the tekonsha prodigy.
  5. Mac users were trying to get street cred on the PC folks.
  6. Maybe i'm an optimist...but is that the stock rear end? If so you can get one for less than $100 and swap it? Maybe i'm not seeing how this is a big deal. I am not trying to lecture you by any means. But if you were in debt, and sold a bunch of stuff to pay off bills. As soon as that happened you went out and bought what is essentially a custom built car instead of buying a reliable form of transportation? I love my swapped RX-7 and its 200% more reliable than it was with the rotary (actually never left me stranded, knock on wood). I would still not want to purchase one if I was tight on money. Its a project, things happen. First and foremost you have to take care of your method to get to work. Will it suck to have a slow beater? Yes but as I have learned there is always a right and wrong time to make project purchases. If the rear end is all thats broken and he offered you $100, you should be good to go after a few hours worth of work.
  7. Bump, costco now has the D3100 kit for $699 just an FYI for anyone interested! http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11622027&search=slr&Mo=9&cm_re=1_en-_-Top_Left_Nav-_-Top_search&lang=en-US&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&Sp=S&N=5000043&whse=BC&Dx=mode+matchallpartial&Ntk=Text_Search&Dr=P_CatalogName:BC&Ne=4000000&D=slr&Ntt=slr&No=4&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Nty=1&topnav=&s=1
  8. urgh. Just bought a camera or i'd be all over this.
  9. Its not an either or type of technology. If you have SCR there is still a DPF upstream of it.
  10. Thanks! I keep forgetting thats old news . I am really disappointed by the fact that not many of the big truck comparisons in magazines talk about the Cummins NOT needing Urea injection/DEF. Torque war is right though. This market is brutal. I am very curious on what the future of these big diesel trucks is going to be. We are getting to the point where towing 22,700 lbs is no joke and I don't know if I'd personally WANT to tow much more than that from a safety standpoint. I really wonder if any of the manufacturers will ever say 'ok enough is enough' and start targeting fuel economy much more aggressively. You can't forget about the MegaCab either. now there is a company that offers the long bed extension for the megacab while keeping the warranty.
  11. Good price. I'd be tempted if I had room I have a GP1200 thats probably going to go this yr too . How is the passenger seat more worn than the driver? (just curious). It looks like the set for 2 girls 1 cup.
  12. Should have posted it on here for the trade in price!!!! nice new one though.
  13. My parents have 2 fits and they love them one is an 07 one is a '10. They are very roomy with the seats folded down. Pretty nice daily driver for the price.
  14. The electronics associated with the LS1 swap are well documented, also the factory engine harness is almost a standalone harness on its own. There are 5 connectors that connect it to the chassis. For my swap I got those 5 connectors off a wrecked f-body and made a jumper harness to the RX-7. It was ~ 20 wires? not bad at all. you think 300hp in a 3000lb car is nice but you will want more. Mine dynoed 328 rwhp and I already want more. Also, I see your plans are for the occasional road race. Not sure how hardcore you are with this but some guys running slicks have pulled enough lateral g's to starve the oil pick up. Some of those guys are going big bux with a dry sump kit.
  15. You said you don't know how bright you want to go but I hope you realize that the bulb temperature (8000k etc) does NOT relate to how bright it is, just the color of the light output. Most factory HID units are 4300 to 4500k which is a pure white out put. The higher the temp the more blue the light, the more annoying, and actually....the less light output (measured in Lumens). IMO anything over 5500k - 6000k is ricey. I just got a set of 4500k on my quad and its awesome.
  16. I don't know much about the ford v6 but its an interesting idea. How much is the whole set up going to run you? you can get LS1's for a pretty decent price now. Another thing to consider is if you are a swap pioneer it will cost more money and take more time. If you do a swap thats 'been done' at least you aren't pioneering. Have you been on http://www.norotors.com/index.php?topic=1544.0 ? Here is a link to the Hinson kit. All though I hear their customer service isn't very good. Also another thing to consider is what are your power goals? LS1 power is relatively cheap
  17. 1/4" last night http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/DSC03993.jpg 1/2" This morning http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/DSC03992.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/DSC03991.jpg How much will we get by morning?
  18. We're getting it pretty bad over here. About 1/2" of ice on everything and the worse is yet to come tonight. Its real slick too. Last night I pulled the old lady's car up into the driveway and it started sliding back with the brakes on. who knows how much we'll get tonight!
  19. Great car. Too bad it wasn't a few months ago when we were looking for a car for the GF.
