The engine is too tall and doesn't give me the rpms I want. Plus they are heavier than hell. You can actually retain really good handling characteristics with the LS1. You missed the 'Full of Win' part. Its ok, a few months ago I was a hater too. But look at me now! Thats the right Idea, lets see how my 'swap skillzzzz' are after this one I might try that into the F150. I just with my truck was extended cab or crew cab :-/

The LS1 I just picked up for the RX-7. I am super excited to get started on this thing. All the rotary haters will chime in, but I guess this time its ok. I am tired of putting money into the rotary and it being broken or me being afraid of driving it. I got this LS1, full drop out from a T/A with 64k miles. Includes all accessories, PCM, wiring harness ETC. It had an auto tranny behind it but I had the guy keep it because I am going for a T56. The story is they bought the swap for someone putting an LS1 into a cutlass. The customer put $1,000 non-refundable deposit. He backed out so the shop was asking $3,000 with the tranny. I low-balled the guy and told him $2100. He said he would wait a week, if no luck then I had it for $2100.....a week later no takers. So its mine! I love my 42" Samsung DLP as well. I don't think DLP is on its way out...hell look at the new LED DLPs. I might have to put on my flame suit after this but. I am not a fan of the Plasmas. The limited life is a turn off. Also, I have been witness of burn in after only 20-30 minutes of playing guitar hero. LCDs, if you have a pixel go out, you are F'd. Also can be a problem with burn in, not as bad as plasma.

They aren't too difficult just gotta get in there and start checking out where its leaking from. A physical leak seems like it would be easier than troubleshooting an electrical problem! Make sure you unplug it!

Look up 'Brown County' here in Indiana. Surprisingly hilly area in Indiana! its dense woods and absolutely beautiful in the fall. A lot of nice little bed and breakfasts. Its next to bloomington. There is a town called 'Nashville' which is nice if you are into pottery and antiquing...just not my style. but the scenery is beautiful. Also have lake Monroe in brown county...largest lake in Indiana.

Because every time you convert energy you lose some. If a car ran forever without re-fueling you would have discovered a perpetual motion machine, which is impossible. I thought cash for clunkers was more designed to help out the automotive industry with sales, the gas savings were just a side.

I would personally say no. In the long run it ends up being crappy deal for society. Plus, here in Indiana we have new monster casinos...went into one. All they had was the virtual poker and stuff like that, no real tables, they aren't allowed. If I want to play virtual poker i'll stay at home and sit on my couch.

It depends on what you want to do with it. You have the 'regular' type generators that are generally pretty loud, but are cheaper. Someone mentioned a 3000 watt Honda generator for 1850, I am guessing that that is the 'inverter type' generator. Inverter type generators are typically a bit quieter and don't have voltage spikes or fluctuations which make them ideal if you are running high end electronics off it (like a computer). I recently purchased a generator used off craigslist (4400 watt craftsman for $225). I personally didn't care about the noise (didn't feel it was that big of a difference) plus my generator is only for emergencies, it was hard to justify spending that much money for it an inverter type. If the power goes out I just plan on running an extension chord in to run what I want to run. Maybe the next house if I know I am going to be there longer I will make a connection at the fuse box so I can run the whole house.

I am coming to Cbus this weekend from Indy on Friday. I can drive the F-150 instead of the Civic and pick up the machine if you still need it. However, I will need financial justification to bring the truck rather than the civic that sips on gas let me know.
