'Every body panel is carbon fiber except for the rear quarter panels, those are fiberglass' Owner was also telling me the brake rotors are ceramic and weigh 2 lbs. Not sure if that is exactly true, but I believe it.

Well my netgear g router is on the fritz. So I went out and got the netgear WNR2000 (wireless-n). Turns out this thing is a piece of junk. Disconnects about every 10 minutes when you are surfing. What is a good wireless-n router for under $100? Or does that not exist. Open to recommendations.

The only caution i have for you on renting a car and driving all the way to hoover or the canyon is that they have a 100 mile limit, then they start charging you per mile. Watch out.

Stay away from the mazda3's ( no offense to the 3's on here) I like they way they look and have decent power for a daily but the MPG freaking SUCKS for the power you get. I have also read about quite a few problems with them. (It was close between my civ and the 3). Dunno if I told you but my parents have a fit. Its an 07 but it is a very practical car. I wouldn't call it fun to drive by ANY means. My major complaint is no intermittent wipers (09 may have changed), but the biggest thing is it is geared for the city. At 75mph its around 3500rpm (manual trans). I know your commute is mostly highway, so keep that in mind ( again maybe this changed in 09). The 09 looks like a great improvement though. oh and also, don't buy it used. If you plan to keep the car a long time just buy it new and break it in properly and keep up on maintenance. Plus honda's retain their price so you probably won't save all that much money, plus you will get a better interest rate.

02 and newer don't have the tranny problems.

They are great machines but I would stay away from them. I rode my buddies 660 around the trails and as mentioned above they are very top heavy. I am plenty happy with my LTZ400 for everything I do, but if I were to upgrade I would get the LTR450. I am not impressed with the reliability of the Raptor either. I have ridden my LTZ very hard now for a year and nothing has broken on it *knock on wood*

dirt cheap. ~$50 (likely less) a person for lodging (the whole weekend). no feed to ride, and don't have to be registered. Food and gas to get there.
