He can pick up a Springfield Arms GI 1911 for quite a bit cheaper than the Glock, or a Milspec 1911 for just a tick cheaper than the Glock.

Not a fan. Looks like the modern day transition from the 70 Mustang to the 71, where they got long, fat, and god awful ugly.

Aaaaaaaand? Pedestrians get struck by cars daily. People fall off of scaffolding. Kids run with scissors. Dogs bite. Don't coddle society because of "what if's". I wouldn't say its a complete victory because they got away, not because a garage door was damaged.

Yup, you're not having fun stripping a 1911 until you have the barrel bushing release from the recoil spring and smack you square in the cheek, bounce off, and roll under the kitchen table. And that's doing a simple feild strip, I have yet to do a detail strip on it. I really don't want to either.

I've had my STI Spartan out now a few times now and can't split the groups. Although I do have a severe tendency to squeeze my fingertips while shooting, pulling the groups down and left a bit. Need to work on that.

Glad to see you're ok. Yup, Morgan Center road can bite you in the ass with all the places deer can jump out in front of you, good to see you walked away from this one. ETA: That's why I usually stuck to Rt62, though there were just as much deer crossing that road too.

It was on a channel here in the Netherlands called Eurosport or something like that. Shows a lot of races live. This one happened to be one of them.

I watched a little of the race as well. Saw the wreck, but ended up leaving before any 'news' about it was reported. Sad news to hear.

"Really Big Things" on discovery chnl did an episode on that. They said the collision site of the two particles reaches some crazy stupid temperature. Something like 3 Trillion Degrees if memory serves right. They compared it exponentially to the temperature of the sun. This is for less than a split second though. Pretty amazing stuff.

lol, my earlier contraption kept 'popping' where I had the stick, so it would pop over the ball and leave it. So, I put the stick there. But when I came up with that simpler design I never tried it without the stick. Yah, I don't think that 18 is getting any simpler.

I worked on that for an hour after trying to get it to work again after I posted the wrong original link, then BAM, it hit me how simple it really could be and that was what I came up with.
