  1. Im guessing never, since he's not in jail.
  2. I went on a few "calls" with a buddy in my younger dumber days. Smashed a few knee caps to get points across. Neither he nor I practice that life style anymore. It leads to bigger problems in the future.
  3. "What up blood, what up cuz, what up blood, what up gannnngsta" I mean, you're hardcore and shit.
  4. No, that just because someone, or three people are coming at you "aggressively" doesn't give you the lawful ability to "be shooting."
  5. Oh boy. I hope you learn something in your class.
  6. 3 guys confronting a guy as he gets off work, when he is the most vulnerable, is the definition of being a "bitch ass punk". Man up and fight mano a mano or don't fight at all. so the guy struck Kyle before Kyle did anything. Someone has to initiate the first blow for any confrontation. I'd put a large wager though, that given the idea to confront this guy in the first place, there is a history between the two where previous actions has warranted (for the guy) striking Kyle first. Maybe showing up in force, this guy thought he should try to take out at least one before he got jumped by all three. You "ran to his help" after the gun was produced, otherwise you were there to "help back up Kyle", aka "jump the dude with Kyle." It's text book adolescence. We've all been there, we know how the story changes to help save face once the odds or situation turns for the worse.
  7. Wow, this thread is full of stupid. From everyone involved. First, the problem was between your friend and that dude. Why is it that all the pussies have to come with a gang of friends to confront someone? I had that shit happen to me in high school, and when I'd confront any of them alone in public they'd bitch out. What was you're real reasoning for being there? I'd take a guess that you're story of "only being there for backup" is pure bull shit once the gun came into play. You were there to help jump the guy the second something would have went down. That's the way it always works, and that was your intentions. He called your bluff though with a gun. It was fucking dumber than shit for you to entice him though once he pulled it. Your buddy didn't go there to just talk. And that guy didnt whack your buddy with the club because "he only wanted to talk". Some shit that isn't being passed onto us went down. You're lucky he didn't shoot. 3 against 1 isn't fair game, and it sounds like he was being threatened by that fact that your buddy (and you guys) confronted him. Had he had enough sense when he pulled that gun you would have been another statistic of dumb ass kids who have to play billy bad ass with their friends. Grow the fuck up and quit being a hard ass with your friends and shit like this can be avoided.
  8. Holy crap, my heart stopped when I saw the Ranger in that pic. Looks like my old 05 Ranger that my brother now drives, and on 70 daily. It started again when I realized its a 4door extended cab. Mine was regular cab. Phewww.
  9. yah, I couldn't understand being shot in the back either. One of the stories said the first guy took off towards Horn, then veered towards the road. Never clarified if he was still in the general direction of Horn or not. Again hard to tell? About the wrongful death thing. I'm sure that's one of the things the Castle Doctrine won't free you of. It's not an end all to liability. Rather it makes it so the theif/burgler/rapist/etc can't frivolously sue the victims. But, the guys were trespassing, which in Texas, is a BIG no no. They just happened to be committing a burglary next door at the same time.
  10. He was ordered/instructed by someone with zero authority. The dispatchers are everyday people like you and me. That would be akin to me telling you over the phone to not do it. Would you listen cause I'm ordering you? I've read 5 or 6 different articles about what entirely went on here. One of them said there was a plain clothed officer in an unmarked car that showed up out on the road moments before he shot the two theifs. The plain cloth officer didn't intervene in fear that he may be seen as a get away driver and/or shot too. He did say he saw the two thiefs take off towards Horn. Which in a situation like that would look threatening to Horn. It's hard to tell though if that's a mis portrayal of the facts or not. If it's true, are most media outlets refusing to include that info so they can make it sound like murder as much as possible in light of the SCOTUS decision? Wouldn't be a surprise. But with the inability for any source to give all the details it's hard to determine anything. Texas has a pretty good Castle Law for such things. It doesn't trump all instances, but trespassing on ones property is terms for deadly force. The Castle Law or Doctrine keeps the property/home owner safe from civil lawsuits. Same thing Ohio's Castle Doctrine helps with.
  11. Get a friend for 2girls1cupcake?
  12. Replace ground speed with air speed and then he'd really be on to something.
  13. That's not entirely accurate. The London police have been known to carry something along the lines of an MP-5 9mm. Though, it's either that or nothing, or a club perhaps.
  14. The Bill of Rights is there to guarantee Rights. Unfortunately, the law to forbid drinking was written into them. It was a gross misuse of Congressional power at the time. There should never be any amendment that puts a limit on whatever the amendment is for. Only to ever guarantee such a right. Otherwise the Bill of Rights would be "The Bill of Rights and a few Restrictions".
  15. Uh, the economy has to actually stop growing, and recede in progress to have a recession.
  16. Chill? No thanks. You can't only support some of the amendments and expect to be fully for something. IE American. It's either you support FULLY what the fore fathers set out to provide for us, or you don't. It's not a smörgåsbord of "pick your choosings" deal. Either you support all the amendments for what they are or or fall victim to a loss of your rights just like every nation in history has. His freedom of speech is just like mine. So no I won't chill, its my freedom. Kinda funny how it works either way. Which is exactly why some feel its OK to burn the American flag, and spit on the Constitution. And I'll stand up for that right, no matter what his personal opinion is, whether I agree or not. For as we both said, its our freedom to speek such. After all, that's what debate's are all about.
  17. Europe is paying the equivalent of $9.8X a gallon of fuel. Why does this really keep surprising anyone? Understandably they have a shit ton more taxes on their fuel than we do, but couple the speculation with inflation and $7/gal gas seems about right comparitevly.
  18. Where I lived in Utica, about once a month we would have a Black Hawk fly over, loop back at the horizon, and then fly back over our house. Pretty cool. Where I live now in Utah the National Guard fly's Apache's and BH's over the neighborhood almost daily. They do landing/take off maneuvers on the government land to the west of us. It's very cool to see a pack of 6 or 8 of them thundering over head.
  19. Reps for such a concise and clear article!
  20. I think the Mayor heinously made that statement out of spite, without thinking how stupid he continued to make himself look. It will quickly get shot down as well due to the "in common use" clause in the decision.
  21. This is the perplexing circle of arguments they use to get stuff banned. "Lets make it illegal, so criminals can't have it" They totally over look the definition of why someone is a criminal, its because they break the law! How much more simple is that to understand really? That's like all those "gun free zones". Those really do work. Just ask Virginia Tech, the LDS church in Utah here, Illinois Univ, the Church in Colorado Springs, WASHINGTON D.C., and Trolley Square Mall in Utah. All of them "gun free", yeap, that law wasn't broken by criminals was it?
  22. Irony's a bitch aint it?, cause that is exactly what you have been spewing this entire thread. That because you think nothing good can come of having anything more than a flint lock rifle, that no one but the army should be allowed to have them. News flash in case you missed the entire point of the original post, 2A is our INDIVIDUAL right as confirmed by SCOTUS. Fighting it and spewing your drivel for massive gun control is being concieted and ignorant to what is really the situation. Not what you think may happen. Until you use some real world facts, and not your own opinions and beliefs, you have no leg to stand on to argue against the 2A and our Right. You're right, Laws do need changed and stricken down. You're so amassed in your liberal views you call our Rights laws. Until you know the difference and intelligently talk about it, you're not making any light into the situation. I've already covered the part where the citizens are supposed to have equal access to military armament. How many times are you going to repeat yourself? There is is lady's and gentleman. The liberal gets beat down and almost instinctively compares today to the "wild west" to appeal to themselves that their arguments make any sense. Typical diatribe. No, like you they are a media brain washed society uninformed of their Constitutional rights, because as you said they are "poor, uneducated, and not fit to deserve their Rights." Again, you still can't answer the question about how having an automatic weapon suddenly makes someone a threat to society. You keep skirting around every question that is posed to your hysterical blabberings. If you are going to make a statement, be prepared to answer a question in regards to it. Or can you? All you are running off of is what your bleeding heart predicts what may happen. Disregarding all statistics and facts in order to make yourself feel better about being a sheep. As far as my AR15 goes; it's illegal to shoot it off in my back yard there Mr DoomsDay. I go to public land well away from anyone and anything dangerous and shoot at targets, whether pop cans or paper. NO different than anytime you've ever shot a gun I'd guess. But, by your illogical reasoning, I own an AR15, which makes me instantly insane and running through the streets shooting cats and kids because it's a magical Military style weapon that I'm not capable of handling. Pfft. I also own a Yugo SKS, and a Russian M44. I bet by your thinking my entire town is dead by now right? Give it a break, or some rational thought. So again, until you answer the real questions, using some logic, quit repeating all the liberal shit you've already spewed, and talk sensibly, you have nothing to stand on.
  23. I thought about continuing on in this thread. Then realized, pdqgp will always be un-American, won't use real facts, will never use logic in his arguments, will avoid what's being asked, and repeat himself over and over as his list of "what if" situations to totally deny our Rights is very short indeed. Sounds exactly like the pussified, let the gooberment do everything for me, socialistic anti-American liberal I pointed you to be earlier. Go have fun in your Communistic bubble while I go out and shoot my AR15
  24. double post, but I own the second and third page. Going to bed (Im in Holland), so I'll catch this thread tomarrow.
  25. I also ask, again, since you can't answer the question the first two times. What about his location makes any difference to having a FA? Once he hits the 'burbs' he automatically goes ape shit and starts involuntarily shooting up the kids and creating rivers of blood in the streets? Since you're using cliche's (Just because one can, doesn't mean they should), more people will be killed this year by drunk drivers using a car than there will be by someone using a gun. Let's ban all cars shall we, cause you know, drunk driving is illegal and works as a law already?
