  1. I've never seen those Penn and Teller episodes. Very nice. However, even they can't get it 100% right, even if they are spitting in the eye of gun control. On more than a couple references in just the first episode, they blamed the cause of child deaths, in home deaths, accidental deaths on the guns, rather than the people operating them. (Or perhaps they didn't mean it that way, but media brainwashing over the past 20 years has subliminally made most people lay blame this way.) We don't blame drunk driving on the car, shootings involving the use of a gun should never be blamed on the gun either.
  2. So, whats the going rate for insuring cars like an Enzo, Veyron, or any high dollar super-car for that matter? Is it even possible? Also, don't insurance rates have a little to do with theft probability for that vehicle? Makes sense why the Escalade is at the top.
  3. Yah, they generally do a pretty good job of sweeping up the bodies.
  4. Self Defense. At the moment your life or loved ones life is in danger, no one but you are responsible for your/their safety. Relying on anyone else, whether its a stranger, police officer, or the Government, to interject and stop the situation is increasing the time that said situation can go from fucked up, to deadly. It's one persons personal choice on whether they would rather take control of their own life's, or rely on someone else. Some of us choose to have the opportunity to defend ourselves lawfully should we have to, and not wait for someone else to show up. That what you're looking for?

Haha, I had to do a search of just what the fuck we argued about. I had a chuckle about it for a while.
  6. Bump on the strip club note: Amsterdam > any strip club. Believe it.

LOL. Strolling through and saw I was mentioned.
  8. Fix it, otherwise you'll just keep pushing it off till tomorrow.
  9. Damn, we could have caught something at the Nurburgring too, it's only 2-3 hours away.
  10. Funny you say that, I'm there(here?) right now, on business.
  11. That's a good deal. That is for the short gripped 4" model, in case that matters.
  12. That's what they retail for out here from the cheaper mom&pop type stores. Cabela's had them for $529 though. So, $469 isn't a great price, but its the cheapest I've seen them as I've never seen them on 'sale' anywhere. It's what I paid for mine.
  13. Got damn. I was at the Nurburgring this weekend watching a BF Goodrich race at the Nordschleife. What I wouldn't have given to see something as cool as this though.
  14. My point was that in the worst situations, you can't count on a single thing going how you vision in your head. IE the power is cut to your house and you're now fucked. No I don't live in "horror" movies. I didn't post like I did either. I do however, make my gun decisions based on what they are intended to be used for, then the worst case scenario's. I don't know if you live in "fairy tale" movies or what, but I'm not going to risk my life on a bet that it will going 100% according to what my mind thinks would be ideal. /advice
  15. Imagine this, in the dead of night, you could imagine how much bigger and brighter that would be at night, and what that would do to your night vision. http://www.ozarkguns.com/Glock/compensator.jpg
  16. That's why I question the ported/compensated version. If it's completely dark in the house if the gun is ever needed, then you run into a problem. If you're worried about follow up shots, in this type of situation, then I'd recommend a non ported gun. Once you fire that gun, in the pitch of night, your vision is going to become non existent because of the immense flash from the ports firing directly up in between your eyes and your target. This almost makes a follow up shot impossible as your night vision has now been compromised seriously. In that situation, the regular muzzle flash will be less detrimental to your vision allowing quicker follow up shots. Just some food for thought.
  17. Any reason you want a ported/comensated model rather than just a regular? The recoil isn't bad at all if you don't limp wrist them. I love shooting mine, and of course the more you shoot it the less it seems to kick.
  18. Very cool. It's a shame though to see a house like that fall in to disrepair (or at least starting to).
  19. It's still concealable. It would just be more along the lines of carrying the service sized gun. I CC with XD's 4" .40 Service model, it's not hard to do such.
  20. That might be what I'm thinking of.
  21. It could be worse, it could be on a loufa.
  22. Hell, I can remember him doing the "this day in History" show (I think thats what it was) on the History channel a long time ago. That QVC one might even be older than that.
  23. Mike Rowe has been around longer than Dirty Jobs... you do realize this, right?
  24. LOL, my stomach dropped when I saw that. That's funny. I was thinking what kind of fucking joke was Syris playing, and what did I do to him to deserve that lol.
