  3. think it helps pressure wise, and pushes the fuel some so the intake doesnt have to strain so much least thats how i thought it works, could be wrong but ys an inline doesnt help that much more, you really need a bigger intank or two like i have.
  4. ya, yank all your abs crap and traction control crap off, you dont need it
  5. i got one like that, and all i did was take a peice of aluminized steel and bent it to shape then used some self taping screws to hold it down, light and looks desent with some room free'd up.
  6. are you using this tibby as a drag car? why are you using such a big turbo? i doubt youll be spraying every time you take off on the street. i hope your building up your engine as well, since tibrons dont come turbocharged from the factory. making a NA engine into a FI engine is a pain.
  7. im interested but do you sell products or just do the detailing to them, im not sure i want to drive up there just to get a detail.
  8. i wanna play around with turbos. can somebody teach me how to read them so i can chose the right one for my application. thanks
  9. thats a big cam. i think Adam has a big cam also, not sure how big. but i think my 224/224-114 .561 is big enough. i dont think rockers would help you out enough to be worth the cost. i think with nitrous you would want to use a standard split cam like a 229/232-112 or something around there.
  10. i know a guy who is into turbo fords 2.3L and such, i could ask him.
  11. detroit gots one, not sure where
  12. It does have true awd. i cant remember if it has a viscous coupling system that allows more power to be sent to the front wheels when traction is comprimised. I pretty sure though its not a 50/50 slipt maybe 40/60 but i cant remember exactly.
  13. <2000 have iron heads 2001-2003 have aluminum heads. the bore size for a 6.0 is 4.00" the 5.7 is 3.9" these parts are vary swappable. I have the 6.0 heads on my 5.7 block.
  14. I have heard piston slap on start up is normal in an ls1. Athough i dont have this problem. ONLY 87 OCTANE WHAT IS HE THINKING. the CR of a stock ls1 is 10.1:1, you should be using around 91 octane or greater.
  15. Hmm if i could only challange, when your weak. Not sure. I take it you have 2 external waste gates. You checked for boost leaks right? Making sure your BOV isnt leaking? Have you tried swapping in a MBC, to rule out the bc If it isnt any of that id say its your waste gates.
  16. awd on the vr4. 6 speed on the vr4 94+, 5 speed previous years (no option for automatic) the SL had a chioce of an automatic or 5 speed manual
  17. If you do deside to get a MBC i know a guy ss00blue@msn.com who sellls granger ball and check vale type for around $25 shipped. i got one of them and works good.
  18. I called cometic directly didnt take them that long to get them to me 1-800-752-9850
  19. yes i got tHe 6.0 Heads te reasoN i switcHed was for loweR CR aNd better exHast ports. I Have a 6speed. And like i said before tHe truck intakes are better the the fbody or vette intakes, least thats what i was told.
  20. what are you planning anyways forget those dinky turbos and use a Man size turbo like a T-76 or bigger....Are you man enough or have the cubes to push this. http://www.cofba.org/users/smokinhawk/TurboBeast-pics/trbodia.jpg
  21. you might try ls1.com and ls1tech.com lot of good info there. and the have alot of sponsers were yo ucan get LS equipment.
  22. The 5.3, 5.7 6.0 are very swapable. most parts bolt up. I have 6.0 heads on my 5.7. the motormounts are the same. Reckless here had a 5.3 Iron block in his formula at one time. the intakes are diffent, but someone told me the truck ones are better, just that due to clearance issues you cant stick one on a Fbody.
  23. I wouldnt skimp. If you loose oil, there goes your motor and turbo.
  24. 600rwhp on a stock block would be impressive. Competition just makes us faster. We all will A) all have fast and powerful cars or B) all have blown up cars with no money to fix them
