  1. I'm right by the forest
  2. What are of Perry County LJ?
  3. You would be crazy to part that. It's in pretty good shape. If I had the cash I'd buy it as a future father son project. Post on some other sites some one will want that thing.
  4. this is normal in most vehicles with electric fan
  5. Now that I think about it I had an issue similar to this with a new alternator on my old s10. When tightening the nut on the back I noticed I got it too tight and the stud would spin. Didn't think nothing about it but had random issues like this for a couple of weeks. Parts guy swapped it out after getting good readings randomly a couple of times. Was careful with the next one and the issue went away. Am I crazy thinking that the spinning stud was the issue or?
  6. battery would be my guess. Wouldn't hurt to hit both with a multimeter. Also, check the battery ground and the positive from the battery to the alternator.
  7. That's a great looking $1700 investment
  8. I don't think they teach cursive in school any more as far as I know but at her age I would think she would have learned it. They must blast right through history these days. I am going to be 32 next month and I always felt they didn't go into each chapter in history near enough. Seems it is worse now. My fiancee is 24. The little her, her siblings and my younger sisters know about history blows my mind. I fucking love history and even I don't know enough to settle my cravings for it. I couldn't imagine not knowing the basic stuff like the younger kids and even folks in their twenties today know. The ones I knew that done ECOT all said they only needed two hours to knock their work out. Just because some one got through school, whether public, private or via homeschooling, doesn't mean they know much. I didn't go to college out of fear I wouldn't make it. Now today I see college graduates with lack of basic math skills, like really basic and just don't seem very bright at all. Some needing pen, paper or a calculator for simple addition. WTF? lol
  9. I knew some kids that done ECOT and it just seemed horrible. Hour or two and they're done, and the work seemed to be comparable to what kids 4 grades lower were doing. Don't know of any other places but ECOT is the one you hear about out here.
  10. netbooks don't have cd drives either do they?

  12. They'll growl going straight as well. They often just change tone when turning
  13. I like changing both fronts at the same time. Often both are bad but one is louder than the other. Change one, expecting it to be nice and quiet when all you notice is it's just not as loud. That's my experience and personal preference anyways when it comes to wheel bearings.
  14. I have always said new drivers need a beater for at least the first 6 months of every day driving. Find something under $1000 and upgrade later once she actually knows how to drive.
  15. Not even in the same ballpark in terms of safety. I'd love to hear how it would be safer than today's vehicles?
  16. I just assumed if it was the piston it would do it all the time? After removing it, and putting it back on I got a few days before I noticed it happening again. I only know a couple people who have had stuck calipers and from what I remember it was constant grinding as if they didn't release at all.
  17. It's a 1st gen neon. I do believe they slide on a metal sleeve and then they're covered in rubber.
  18. Not sure if it's the caliper itself or the slider pins but every few days I've had an issue where after coming to a stop the front right break feels slightly held up. Twice in the last 2 weeks It's gotten hot enough to smell it and one of the two times it smoked a tad. The day it smoked I pulled the caliper off, pushed the piston in and it seemed like it may have been a littler tougher tougher going in than it should be. When I put it back on I checked to see how well it was sliding. Had some resistance but not sure if is enough to say those are the cause or not. My question is. When a caliper starts sticking, is it periodically or every time? It's not sticking hard that's for sure, just enough to annoy you.
  19. I always watch that show but it's 99% useless stuff that's cheaply made and way fucking overpriced.
  20. I would say the main issue here is that a child caught him doing it
