  1. TPS? It's a known issue with dakota's. Google "dakota surging TPS"
  2. exactly. Drive them all see which one your ass feels better in
  3. it's all personal preference. Myself, I've had good luck with ASUS products, while others don't care for them
  4. so should I get the same type of pressure/spray at the rear wheels as I do the front?
  5. he says no but I'd say it's a safe bet that it did. It's awfully hilly around here and he drove it a good 8 miles with the cap off. I'll take a look next time I'm there. I got tired of dicking with it today.
  6. is that on advances list of tools they rent out? I read online the master may need bled first but I've never had to do that before
  7. they didn't that's the thing. He couldn't tell me why. Just thought he thought it would help? lol
  8. That was my thought as well since the fronts spray with great pressure. I assumed the lines to thew back were all metal
  9. It's an 89 mustang. My sisters bf got an idea to bleed brakes, by himself, starting with the front lol. If that wasn't bad enough he some how forgot to put the cap back on after he filled it back up and drove to town after I told my sister to tell him it's a two man job and not to drive it. I went out today to try to bleed them for them since he has no idea what he's doing. I bled them 6-7 times, never letting the master get low and starting from RR, LR, FR, FL. They never got better. It wasn't until then that I realized what it was doin. If you pump it buils pressure but when you hold it slowly sinks to the floor. I didn't see any leaks while I was there but to be honest by the time I got there he had fluid all over the place from trying it himself. Is the pedal sinking to the floor a sign of air still being in the system? The front sprays out a stream of fluid with force while the back doesn't seem to have much force but it comes out heavy, if that makes sense?
  10. I doubt it. Nothing in that room implies such a thing
  11. When I done it I disconnected both hoses, attached two other hoses that were long enough to drape over the fender and then attached a coolant flushing water hose attachment on one of them. I left it flushing for 10 minutes or so. I only back flushed though and it was on a vehicle that had plenty room in that area. I imagine it wouldn't be as easy on newer cars.
  12. my s10 had an issue like this. Flushing the heater core backwards cured it.
  13. since no one else came through for you I tossed a rough example together. Would be a bad idea imo http://i.imgur.com/vB3I2Tb.jpg
  14. No way in hell I'd let them repair that. Refund is the only acceptable answer
  15. People don't usually key vehicles for no reason, although I'm sure punk kids have done it for the hell of it before. Hope you catch who it is and break their fingers. We're often in Lancaster and always see this cobalt at the river valley mall that has all sides keyed and "slut" carved into it. The driver must work there since it's usually always there. Poor guy/girl has to drive that thing everyday lol
  16. Thanks every one. I am unsure about ABS on this car. I don't recall ever seeing a light on the dash for it but I would assume it's got it being a 98. I decided to pass on the tires because of the possible braking issue. My 2 year old son rides in this car and I don't take chances when his safety is at play.
  17. near me. Tell him there are a couple lancaster facebook selling groups he could put it on. I've seen mowers go quick on them
  18. It only throws speedometer off in the taller than stock would be on the front, wrong or right? Reason I ask is I just found two under 300 mile tires for $30 and I will be needing tires before winter hits. Stock is 185/65/14 and the two I found are 190/70/14. My plan was to throw the bigger tires on the back and get two more later on if needed. The ones on the back now aren't too bad and should get me through winter. What are the pros, if any,and the cons of running taller tires on the rear?
  19. They make a 24 volt mini bike. Walmart use to sell them. It's what I'll be getting next year if I don't find anything better. My 2 year old is a dare devil seems pretty bored with his power wheels harley and quad. I actually just threw his 6volt jeep in the trash a few weeks ago cause he stopped riding it. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Razor-MX350-Dirt-Rocket/12346986?action=product_interest&action_type=title&placement_id=irs_top&strategy=PWVAV&visitor_id=51485034919&category=0%3A4171%3A133073%3A5353&client_guid=162743d8-6c33-40c3-8fd0-1080197c0f3f&config_id=2&parent_item_id=22245697&guid=0e8f477a-92fd-43ec-b8a2-4570d1c7dbb9&bucket_id=000&findingMethod=p13n Might even go the electric go cart route.
