  2. I sent amessage through their contact form. Doubt it'll help me though
  3. any of you have the capabilities to go back and record that few seconds where they aired the puppy on 28 news tonight? It was aired around 10:10-10:15
  4. lol they just aired my puppy on fox 28
  5. It'll be a while before they even start plowing our little road. Made a trip to Kroger right when it started coming down heavy and since it was icing beforehand, it was pretty slick. My 2 year old sons puppy, Sarge is loving it though. First he's been in snow more than a light dusting. When his paws hit the deck it was like a cat getting thrown into water lol. Then he decided to run around crazy biting at what's on the ground. http://i.imgur.com/p6XTt6u.jpg http://i.imgur.com/paS6G2t.jpg
  6. Been seeing them on fb sell groups $75-150
  7. yea that didn't change the pedal any at all. No leaks now. Going to plug the MC ports and see if it still does it. If so, new MC it is
  8. yea I understand that. There were plenty signs of leaking so I was like what the hell.
  9. Got out there today and checked the vacuum for the booster, the lines, etc. I noticed the bottom of the left rear drum was a little wet. Removed the drum and it was a mess. My guess is the wheel cylinder has been leaking for a bit, but it's only gotten worse. Now, whether that is the sole cause of the pressure loss, I'm not sure but the seal was pushed off on one side and the shaft was fairly wet. I wiped it all up, used a screwdriver to lift the seal while he applied the brakes with the engine off. I could see it squirting just a little and the piston wasn't releasing at all. After a couple more times it started flowing quite heavy. Obviously the cylinder isn't functioning like it should, but that wouldn't have anything to do with applying the brake with the drum removed, would it? I would think even with the drum off and applying the brake, that cylinder should not leaked regardless. Not to mention there already being signs of it leaking previously. That was the only wet wheel. Do you see a leaking wheel cylinder accounting for the pressure loss described in the original post? I've already warned them after the cylinder is replaced, an issue could still be present.
  10. starting to wonder if the MC is bad. With the engine is off, still doesn't hold pressure. If it were air, with the engine off it wouldn't fall to the floor, would it? The pedal drops the same way regardless of the engine running or not. Going back out today to fool with it and check for any leaks in the lines and at the wheel cylinders. As far as I know, there are no fluid losses. Any for sure ways to test a master cylinder? I've read to remove it and look for fluid where it meets the booster. However, that fluid would need to go somewhere, wouldn't it just run down the front of the booster? Or is it a matter of it cycling back and forth passed the seal?
  11. appointment tomorrow with Derek. Thanks every one
  12. Haven't ruled this out yet. I feel being 14's it will be hard to find some that are decent, with even tread and the rubber is in good shape
  13. not sure he could get a deal that would warrant a drive to columbus though
  14. would rather have an all in one stop. Yes, but it's not the tires that caused it. This car has been wrecked a couple times and could use bushings, ball joints and tie rods. It's the outer edge that wears. edit-probably worth noting this car will be semi retired come tax time so fixing the front end isn't a priority
  15. It's once again time to purchase a set of tires since the snow is here. Last year we ran a guardsman plus from sears. I think they were $323 installed and out the door. For a cheap tire they have done us well. They actually cruised ok in snow for what they are. We didn't have any issues. It's an older neon so now the fronts are balding a bit but the backs are still in pretty good shape. We plan to keep the backs for spares. They are now discontinued because they make a new line but sears has a set left that would be $294.46 installed. I found walmart sells Douglas Xtra Trac II that would be $267 installed. I haven't done much digging but a lot of reviews say they are horrible, while some say they're good for a cheap tire. Do you know of anything else in this price range that we would benefit more from having than the guardsman plus? Tire size is 185/65/14. Like I said the guardsman plus treated us well so at this point that's the direction we're heading. If any of you run a cheap tire, what is it? Edit-Please don't turn this into a "get snow tires dumbass" type thread. While I love snow tires we got around fine without them last year.
  16. Thanks every one. I've relayed everything to him and so far nothing else has been attempted. Not sure which direction he's going to go at this point
  17. While the light idea sounds good, it's not going to stop some one. Nor would the putting a pic or note in the window saying "smile, you're on camera." People rob banks, convenient stores and the like daily without blocking their faces, knowing they're on camera. Those who commit break ins and commit robberies aren't usually the smartest. Sadly, if you must park it there, you may have to do a video setup and hope to catch some one after the fact. If it were me I'd be avoiding the area entirely. Seems you feel it's not a matter of if, but when it happens. Are break ins, or other crimes a way for one to get out of a lease early by chance in areas like this? Maybe there's some sort of way of using it as a fear for safety, or something along those lines to get yourselves out of there before July?
