Paul, my brother-in-law, will be stationed at a fort south of Arifjan(sp), where he was for the majority of his last tour, but then moved up to Baghdad after a month or so for the remainder. Im thinking he told me this time he would be over there for 400+ days. I could be wrong though.

My wife and I just bought our first house last year... one of the major reasons we bought it was because of the hardwood floors throughout the house. However, our house was built in 1929 so there is hardwood everywhere anyway. It also depends on whats underneath (to me). If there is a basement then hardwood is just fine but if its on a slab that floor will be crazy cold in the winter unless there is some sort of insulation under the floor. If I where in your shoes I would put the hardwood in and put a really nice area rug in the living areas. Cliffs: I like hardwood floors.

btw... you can efile your ohio state taxes online for free... SUPER easy! I had H&R Block do my taxes for quite sometime but couldnt really justify paying 100 bucks to file a 1040. Picked up TurboTax used it last year and this year and averaged about 2500 bucks in return, not bad. You can also get a discount using turbotax through many diffrent places, my wife works at Olive Garden and we paid 25 bucks for it.

My brother in-law is a 2LT in the army and served at Camp Arifjan in the MI part of town. I know he would have taken a bullet for any on of the guys he had to send in. I guess his boss told him he wasn't allowed to go in with them. I wish I could explain one of the phone calls I recieved from him after he lost two of his guys on a chopper coming home, Ive never heard so much pain in someones voice before. I cant imagine the shit you guys have gone through and I cant tell you how much I respect you guys for doing what you do.

I also believe that Bush was put into office by Karl Rove and used Bush as a puppet. Regardless of his so called triumphs and downfalls it is not Bush that is pulling the strings. As for the horrible situation our troops are in now, I blame Karl Rove. I wish the Bush administration wouldnt have RUINED Colin Powell. I would still vote for Powell if he ever ran but no political figures would back him since he has been dragged through the mud. McCain has played the party line way to much and backed out of his own beliefs way to many times the past 8 years. He holds no clout w/ me anymore. My vote will definatly go w/ the democratic nominee, whomever that may be. I dont mind Clinton or Obama. I just hope and pray that they are not puppets to some other horrible individual. Someone brought up the approval ratings of this congress, I would like to retort. 95% of the bills/articles that have been sent to the oval office have been veto'ed. Some being VERY important legislation (legislation that wasn't drawn up on moral basis!). At least this congress is doing something instead of taking vacations all the time.... I will give this administration credit for always doing what they tell the public they are going to do, whether I think its right or not. IE: dont send this bill/article to me cause I will veto it... We are going to invade Iraq... We are going to give the troops a pay increase... We are going to.. etc etc

Saporro is probably the best sushi in columbus, as far as im concerned. The prices are excellent! Start out with the shrimp or vegtable tempura... always good. California Rolls are an american sushi staple (no raw fish), imitation crab meat, avacado, and cucumber (I get mine w/o the cucumber). Ro (some places spell it diffrently) is fish egg. (orange stuff, it really doesnt have a flavor but its always optional). My wife use to go there at least 3 times a week, when we lived in columbus, she loved the spicy tuna roll, Madam butterfly, its a shrimp roll doesnt look like traditional sushi or a roll(I think thats the name), and just about every other roll they had. I always use to get the regular tuna roll a california roll and maybe chicken tempura or a version of the friend pork (whitch is called Dom Katsu, I think). They have a spicy miso soup that is amazing and the regular miso isnt bad either, get one of each and share, Im sure you will like it. I am not a big sushi fan but that place is just good. The fish always taste fresh and the rice is always cooked perfect. If you have any other q's ask away, I'll ask my wife if I dont know.

When it was 100 bucks Nelson was worth every last penny. We had the best time out there. Each person raced for around 7 hours. Watching Carls RX-7 shoot 4 foot flames out the back was fun too.
