  3. They took it to a dealer today and claim it's the fuel pump. Any arguments?
  4. Thanks guys, we'll have to give it a run.
  5. Ok gentleman, I need to utilize your collective knowledge and experience. I have a family member who has a 95 Pontiac Firebird Firehawk convertable. This vehicle is 100% stock. While making intown(short distance) trips, upon return to the car, it will either not start or not fire upon all cylinders. Is this a typical problem? Quick fix? They have taken it into the dealership, but the dealership was unable to duplicate the problem. Someone made mention to them that they need an "in-line" fuel pump, but the only time I've ever used those was in an aftermarket situation and that was something totally different. Any ideas????
  6. If they want my last four, I ask for theirs as well. I mean it's only fair........right?
  7. If it doesn't profit, it doesn't matter.
  8. Brian, how do you ask such idiotic questions. Of course it's to be louder.....who wants a Honda that's not loud!
  9. Alright, lets be serious. From $3 to $3.50.....that's a 50 cent increase. On a 15 gallon tank that's $7.50 more per fill up. If you fools are that hard up for $7.50......or $30 for the entire month..you have more problems than the cost of fuel alone. Gas prices suck.......but lets take a day and be thankful that the worst thing in the news right now is how much it costs to fill up your tank.
  10. QFTMFT Are all gymnasts psycho's?
  11. It's divine nature. Men are to impregnate as many women as humanly possible and women are supposed to find the most dominant male so she can live through future generations. For many man, very little women are possible. For many women, they find the studliest male every night.
  12. I have the option of an 80/20 loan, a PMI loan at 6.25%, or no PMI at 6.75%. I personally dislike the complexity of the 80/20, it just doesn't make me feel good. Conventional is smooth, simple and a done deal........just have to make sure and ask the important questions.
  13. I am not currently a gun owner, but I am for handguns. In my belief there needs to be a more concise system when screening for "handguns"....maybe we need to evaluate barring the "mentally disturbed" such as Cho..... The minute that the country is unarmed, is the minute that government can take the country hostage. We have guns to protect ourselves, but also our neighborhoods, and our country. We the people.... If all teachers were required to carry firearms at Virginia Tech, the massacre would have been shortened. Had you taken the firearm out of the psychotic boy's hand, he would have hung them, stabbed them, raped them, butchered them, blown them up.
  14. Golly, well it seems that she just had a bad run in with 3 different guys and she shouldn't be punished for that......now should she. He probably fell on her by accident. It's really our responsibility as Americans to pick up the slack for others who, just seem to have a bad run at things.
  15. There are alot of good posts in here followed by 10 times as much crap. I don't think anyone can argue with the fact that the temperatures are getting warmer. The pill that's hard to swallow is the means to fix the problem......a problem in which there is no 100% consensus as to what causes the problem. So how do you fix a problem that you don't understand? In the 1970's, after a 30 year cooling trend, scientists warned of a dwindinling ability to produce food for the world's growing population. Some of the remedies were to cover the polar ice caps in black soot to help melt some of the ice and increase the worlds temperatures. This article illustrates the worry from 1975. http://www.glennbeck.com/2006news/newsweek-coolingworld.pdf 30 years later we have an epidemic on our hands some say, called Global Warming. However, not everyone agrees on it's causes or it's solutions. The United Nations is releasing report that illustrates it's opinion on the causes, effects and potential ways to adapt. The United Nations main way to "solve" this climate crisis.....a simple thing called the Kyoto Protocol or Kyoto Treaty. This treaty calls for developed nations to reduce carbon emissions or undergo trading "carbon credits" with nations that do not use. What are "carbon credits", to be put simply......if a developed nation does not use their pre-determined carbon emissions, they can ....carry over credits to the next year or perhaps.....SELL them to other nations. Just the opposite is true for developed nations who use too many, you can PAY to buy carbon credits from other nations. However....developing nations, as defined by the UN, are not subjected to the same standard..........well they are not subject to ANY standard, they can be as dirty as they want. So really what is happening? This is in essence a "global tax". The nations that have the most difficult time changing are those who have emissions embedded into their infrastrucure, i.e. the United States. Take from the rich and give to the poor, take from the rich and give to the poor........a simple redistribution of wealth.........which could lead you to believe.....possibliy a little bit of communism going on? It seems like were trying to level the playing ground......but remember who is on the top of this ladder.
  16. Mr. Titus you prick-fuck, how in the hell are ya! I would prefer not to comment on that shop too much......and maintain at least a shred of professionalism, for my own sake..........HOWEVER Chris, you walked into a ball that was rolling downhill WAY before you got there. And just to clarify, you never worked at "passen", that was a TOTALLY different place when it was under the previous ownership. Passen was a business, the latter merely the figment of a bad joke that continues to spiral, according to your accounts. If you no longer work there, there is a large probability you were screwed in some way or another. But life goes on. Capatilism will prevail in the end.
  17. I'm no doctor.....but I am a thinker, and this makes sense
  18. Does anyone know their position on "Gays in the military"? I might be ok with it.... http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h90/csite/34.jpg
  19. Now I'm drawing conclusions..but I have to ask questions, I'm not a left and right guy, I'm a right and wrong guy. When did this war become "Bush's war"? Congress did vote to liberate Iraq as well. I don't think that the entire operation can be blamed soley upon one man. Don't get me wrong, BUSH has done wrong and he has mis-led the American people in terms of what this war really means to us as a nation........I believe that he has not fully illustrated how important success in Iraq is. I don't have the resources or the know how to attempt to prove that our president should be impeached, but I feel that it's blatantly obvious that we have had some better communicators as president. I also think that it's possible that we as citizens HAVE NO CLUE about the full scope of this war. This is not Bush's war, in fact to me it's not even a war......we already won the war, we're just trying to get a hold on the peace. So many great things are going on over there, it's incredible........unfortunately the wonderful world of news doesn't allow us to take a full grasp of that. One death is less than acceptable, but we as Americans today haven't the slightsest of what true sacrifice is. World War II America: 405,399 Soviet: 10,000,000 German: 3,500,000 Japan: 1,500,000 British: 280,000 That's well over 15 million lives taken in battle. Where it comes down to politics is this........policticians need to take a stand and decide if they support the war or if they don't support the war.....not somewhere in-between. It's either a good idea or NOT. You can't have it both ways.....because then it could be a good idea if it succeeds, but then again if it doesn't you don't want to be caught on the backside of the political backlash, etc. If they truly disagreed with the situation that is still going on, WHY haven't they cut the funding? Cut and run.........or...........Fund and fight This isn't Bush's fight......this is Americans fight to protect freedom and plant a seed of democracy in an unstable part of the world.
  20. The "Impeach Bush" movement should be placed directly behind, "Policiticians that need to grow a spine" and "Americans have no values". Bush may not have many supporters in the world currently, but I think a lot and I mean A LOT of politicians could learn a huge lesson.......take a stand and stick to it. There are too many politicians with values based around their party.........NOT based on their expertise/opinion/values. There is too much policitcal correctness in the world and there is far too much stacked against the middle class.
  21. Is it still a law to wear a seatbelt?
  22. Wal-Mart......it reminds you that capitalism and socialism can co-exist. I find it funny that Wal-mart tries to show that they "care" about their communities......however, they never build Wal-Mart's in the "rougher" areas. If they built a Wal-Mart in Northern lights......that place would EXPLODE with business(and jobs)
  23. It's definitely cool, it's also been known as holophonic sound http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22020&highlight=holophonic
