A very good friend of mine grew up in cock county and is was a rafting guide on the pigeon forge for a long time. Its definetly worth it, the area is so pristine and beautiful. If you do go down there ask people for directions to "The forte" its a double wide trailer bar. Also the "patio" is an interesting mix, live bluegrass and mexican food plus BYOB what more could you ask for.

That $0.06 is just your generation charge, check out your electric bll there is a transmission charge and some other crap on there. AEP Retail wouldnt pay the "fee" since your still on AEP generation.

If its the FTR auction that has nothing to with generation and transmission and is about congestion. Here's the LMP contour map from PJM (https://edata.pjm.com/eContour/#) as you can see the RT prices aren't $16.00 and DA has been around $40+. As far as for AEP retail they were offering $0.0669 which was the same rate FE was offering with their locked in rate and that is below the cost of generation. As for capacity shopping sure you should be able to, as you can now, but AEP should be allowed to up-charge for using its lines and what they choose to charge is what they choose isn't that what being a free market is about? With that beings said we will have to agree to disagree this argument could go on for ages.

PUCO is a joke, how do you approve something then re-neg on it after it goes into effect. They knew what the new rates were going to be. All AEP is doing to trying to prevent companies from coming in and using their transmission lines for free when they spent the money to built and maintain these lines. Furthermore with all the government regulation with the clean air act going in effect its becoming more and more expensive to make the electricity so they need some way of recouping their costs to make a profit. Everyone's looking for a handout now-a-days, you guys should ask Obama for some government power for everyone.

Electricity isn't a right and you don't have to use it. Find a company you like and ask them to put up some transmission lines to your house, maintain these transmission lines, and supply you with power as cheap as AEP does. If you dont have a locked in rate with AEP retail who's fault is that? A simple phone call can change that and save you a bunch of money. BTW: Ohio is going DE-regulated very soon so you can say goodbye to PUCO.

its not their usage is the transmission grid that is being taxed hard. Consider the grid like the roads in Columbus, say they close 315 and all of 270. You would get a ton of cars on 71 in both directions causing congestion. That's pretty much the easiest way I can explain it without getting into further specifics. If we don't conserve power you'll experience a brownout then it'll be blackouts.

what are you doing with it? I find the 750's a good balance between nimble and raw power. If you want to get more power out of it just upgrade some of the components and you'd be good to go. I just think a 1K is overkill for the streets its just not needed.
